I picked up this book because I strained my knee, and I knew I was going to need medical treatment for it. What I didn’t know was how my knees work or how I could tell if I really would need surgery. This book has a lot of information about how The knee joints work and how the orthopedics branch of medicine works. I learned that, as with any group, there are heroes and villains. I feel more confident now that I understand how my knee joints work. I think that will help me to better understand what I learned when I see a doctor and can help me make the best decision I can.
