Bernice Hunt, M.S. (b. 1920), has enjoyed successful careers as a writer and as a psychotherapist, but she has always found time to cook for her family and friends. She lives with her husband, author Morton Hunt, near Philadelphia.
The illustrations by Aliki are some of her best - sparse and geometric with backgrounds awash in a single color, similar in vein to Saul Bass. The text of the book explores the relativity of how we describe sizes - "This dog has big feet, and this man has small feet. But the man's feet are bigger than the dog's feet." Simple but has a slightly unique take on an oft-discussed topic with beautiful art.
