Provided a lot of thought-provoking material from a variety of authors on the subect. I rather enjoyed the broad overview of both physical language-learning processes as well as ideas of how we use language, i.e., how does language affect our perception of information and society. Despite being more than forty years old, the ideas contained have remained relevant to our use of language today.
