I'll say this about KISS Guide to Beauty: it's the first book in a long time I didn't check my phone during. Stephanie Pedersen paces it like a pressure cooker, with every chapter turning the heat up a little more, and the dinner party scene had my stomach in knots. The cost is that the characters feel like chess pieces, so I never really cared who made it out. Perfect for thriller junkies. Not for readers who want depth over adrenaline.

Covers a lot of basics, but felt it could have covered more applications according to face shapes. Nothing to get too excited about.
