Doug Fleener is the author of The Decided Day: A Daily Practice for Faster Change and Growth, Start With What If, and The Day Makes the Year (Makes a Life).

A former director of retail at Bose, Doug has spent decades leading, coaching, and advising business owners, executives, and leaders.

His work focuses on a simple idea: meaningful change doesn’t have to take a long time. It starts with what you decide to do differently today.

In The Decided Day, Doug shares a three-minute morning practice built around three decisions: who you will be, what matters most, and what you will do.

By making those decisions before the day makes them for you, you can turn good intentions into daily action and create faster change and growth.

Doug is also a speaker and coach and lives outside Boston.

If you own or manage a retail store this book is essential reading. I also subscribe to his retail blog. Some of the stuff can seem obvious, but believe me, just because you think it's obvious, doesn't mean your employees do.
