I listened to this one and the narrator did a great job of making the characters come alive for me. It was similar to all the military thrillers out there, but this one had a few twists and turns.

For a first book I thought it was good, but I am hoping the character Ryan Drake expands a bit more and I think he will in books to come.

This one took place mostly in the Middle East and the CIA operatives go between the U S and the Middle East to bring a captive home and then the captive lends her help to find some answers that have been unanswered. I felt Anya's character was a bit overdone, but I understand he needed that for the story. I would have liked it to be a bit more realistic is all.

I am giving this 4 out of 5 stars.
