Her life was nearly perfect. Until a car crash changed everything. Now that Rosie's gone, Monte has to deal with the aftermath, and, being a lawyer, things aren't adding up. He suspects foul play. What he doesn't suspect is witchcraft, lies, and secrets kept since before his wife was born. Now that the truth is surfacing, does he even want to find Rosie? And what happens when he does?

It sounded interesting. It started good, but lost its way very fast. It didn't make any sense and I didn't like it. Usually, I like madness, plot strange, but this one, I couldn't even consider that.
This book was cray cray filled with a lot of secrets and betrayals. At some point I felt like I was going crazy It was too much but in a good way that got me over thinking everything. This is the kind of book you need to read every line carefully because they say too much but not enough at the same time.
What a way to play with my mind. When I was getting what was going on the plot turned the other way and it was not what I had in mind. The plot was interesting, intriguing and unexpected. When I read a book I start thinking was going to happen and how will it end but with this one I couldn't do that. Every chapter was a turn on the plot very twisted btw.
At the end I was wow mind blowing but it made sense nothing is as it seems and you will get surprise.
I was intrigued by the concept of this book from the very beginning. It is different from what I’m used to reading by Rayne so I was intrigued. In true Rayne fashion, this book kept me guessing from beginning to end. Every time I thought I knew the whole outcome, she threw another curveball into the story. It is a love story but it definitely was not the love story I was expecting from the beginning of the book. This book is packed with humor and I laughed right after crying too many times to count. The way Rayne can evoke emotion in her writing is out of this world. Rosie is no different. I can’t wait to see what the next part of Rosie’s story hold for us.
What a wild ride this one was. Rayne Matthews can tell a story like no other. Her style is so diversified that she can write anything and it comes out amazing.
This book has twists and turns, left and rights. Javi is hilarious, I was cracking up at his 'Javi'isms'. Monte.... oh poor Monte..... sometimes you get what you deserve and sometimes you get what is destined. Rosie is doing the best she can, with what she was born into. Many of us can relate, right?
What a great start to the duet, can't wait to see where it ends.....
This book is different then the usual story I read from this author and it is no less intriguing. I could keep guessing to see what happens next but Matthews is good at writing the unexpected. Rosie’s story sends you on one heck of a rollercoaster ride of secrets, betrayals, and plot twists. I enjoyed Rosie’s character and how she took charge of her fate. Monte’s character well fate is what it is. I loved Javi, he was hilarious and had me laughing even sometimes through the tears. I can’t wait to see what is instore next for Rosie’s story.
What in the world did I just finish reading, it was so awesome! I had major whiplash from some of the things in this book. Literally had me checking over my shoulder. I freaking loved this book and I was so not disappointed. There were so many twists and I’ll I have to say is never trust a bruja. So much drama and betrayal and one bothersome demon. I definitely recommend this book.
When you think you know what is going to happen in this story, you get thrown off by a twist that you weren't expecting. The story plot was a great read, but you need to concentrate when reading so you don't miss a thing. Rayne has outdone herself yet again with her stories and this is no different.I enjoyed the plot and the emotions it put me through. Loved Rosie and can't wait to happen next.
Diving into this book blind, I wasn’t sure how this story was going to go. But dang if it isn’t filled with all kinds of secrets, betrayal, and mystery. I’m going to try to write this without spoilers but just in case be warned it may be spoilerish
Rosie, is different from any FMC I’ve ever read. Reading her inner thoughts kept me bouncing between confusion for her thought process to proud of her for choosing her destiny.
I felt so bad for Monte in the beginning and the way life was going. By the ending I was happy with his fate.
Idk if we were supposed to like Roland by the end but man I do. He’s everything 🥵
My favorite quote from the book was: Monte is your comfort. The normality you’ve longed for because you never had to choose for yourself.

Reviewed in the United States on June 14, 2023 Rayne really did a good job on this book it will having you in all kinds of feelings not knowing if you should feel one way or another about the characters the plot is good and the twist and turns it takes you on is amazing Rosie is so different from what she has wrote in the past but oh so good just like the rest I can’t wait for the next book
Wow. That's all I can say about this book. It's full of twists and turns and questions that will keep you on the edge of your seat and have you guessing until the very end. Just when you think you've got something figured out...guess again lol! This isn't the usual style Rayne does but it's just as good! Love it! ❤️
Hold on for a wild ride. This book starts out with two great characters so in love. But be prepared. Just when you think you know what’s going on there will be a twist. Not just one twist, many twist in this book. Many things you will not see coming. A read that Inwont give anything away because it is better to go in blind.
Rayne did again, threw me for a tailspin. I thought I knew and then wam she did a 360. And this is why I love her, that saying the plot thickens well that applies here. Rosie was a heck of FMC and what an unique read.
Rosie is so different from any of Rayne's work. It shows how talented of a writer she truly is. Rosie's story is full of secrets and betrayals. It is a very intriguing book and it keeps you hooked. Rayne always brings her "A" game!!!!!!!!
What was that?! From page 20 I wanted to DNF it, but since it was only 168 pages, I pushed myself to finish it. The blurb looked promising, but the book itself didn’t make any sense. So far the worst book I’ve read this year… 1⭐️
Rayne Matthews....woman I am speechless. You just took me on one heck of a ride and Im glad I took it. So different from your normal and so good. Run to read it now.
