Andie I love Christmas! So when my enthusiasm at the open casting call for the holiday movie being shot right here, in Candy Cane Key, gets me hired as an extra, I’m all in. I’m determined to give my first real job outside our family business my all, but when my brother ‘accidentally’ mixes up the dates of his best friend’s visit and is out of town, I’m stuck entertaining a serious—and seriously annoyed—ex-Navy hottie who’s just landed. And is completely unimpressed with my Elf costume. But I never shy away from a challenge, so even if getting this tech wiz to relax into the beach vibes and holiday cheer that surrounds us until my brother gets home kills me, I’m determined to show him a good time. Ethan If my idea for a startup has any chance of getting off the ground, I’m going to need help and first on my list to ask is my best friend. But when I land in a peppermint scented nightmare to find I’m three days early, I doubt things could get any worse. Until an elf arrives to pick me up from the airport. In a decorated golf cart. Sure, she’s a damn sexy Elf, but this siren is also my best friend’s sister and determined to have me singing Fa La La La La and sinking my toes into the sand in no time. If I can survive three months of an overseas combat tour on an aircraft carrier, surely I can ignore this tempting distraction for three days. Even if I have to crash at her place where there’s only one bed. This steamy novella is a brother’s best friend opposites attract, forced proximity, small town holiday beach romance with a guaranteed happily ever after!
Ellen Brooks pens sexy & satisfying stories. When she’s not dreaming up her next hero or plotting a happily ever after, you’ll find her absorbed in a novel, relaxing into śavāsana, or downing an iced coffee.
Andie and Ethan really know how to leave an impression on a girl. This novella was cute and steamy in all the right places. Despite this being a short story, the transition from being strangers to love interest and so much more, didn't feel rushed. I liked how laid back Andie was. She was good for button-up Ethan, who needed some sunshine in his life.
If you need a quick beach read and you like anything Christmas, this story is the one for you.

👶Beginners 💝Romance Lover 💞Brother's Best Friend Romance 🏡Small Town Romance
Seduce Like a Siren is a short and steamy, intalove, grumpy-sunshine, Christmas girl dates her brother's best friend romance. It's part of the Man of the Month Christmas in July series that takes place on the island of Candy Cane Key, where Christmas is celebrated year round. Andie is a bubbly Christmas loving girl and the sister of AJ. Together, they run a local marine shop. Ethan is a hunky, serious, ex-military man who is also her brother's best friend. Andie has been cast as an extra in a holiday movie being filmed on their island, when she gets a call from her brother asking her to pick up Ethan as he arrived early while he is out of town. AJ just happens to be married to Ethan's sister Olivia. When Andie goes to pick Ethan up, they realize their siblings have set them up. Ethan is forced to stay with Andie. The two are attracted to each other but different as night and day. Love still blooms, and Ethan loosens up with Andie and enjoys spending time with her. He is drawn to her like a siren. The story is both sweet and steamy. The characters have great chemistry, and we get a great HEA. Loved it!!.

Ethan (MMC) arrives in Candy Cane Key prepared to meet with his best friend, AJ, ( AJ also has his whole story line in CCK, titled "flirt like a fool") and convince him to come on board his startup.
He’s not necessarily prepared for the over the top Christmas exuberance of CCK, especially since it’s Christmas in July and a holiday movie is filming in town, nor is he prepared for AJ’s sister Andie (FMC) .
The attraction is insta but Ethan and Andie quickly realize they’ve been set up, though they both have doubts about the other. Forced to stay with Andie in her small home, things quickly heat up and Ethan begins to see the appeal of island life.
Ethan is big city boy, Andie is small town girl. This is a fast smut paced novella. Sweet Candy Cane Key contemporary opposites-attract romantic quickie with a bit of angst. Lets not forget there is a drink called the Naughty Reindeer.
Andie Patterson is AJ’s younger sister who helps him run the family business. She is an extra on a Christmas in July holiday movie being shot in Candy Cane Key. AJ and Olivia are away for the weekend. AJ calls Andie to go pick up his best friend Ethan at the airport. Ethan is also Olivia’s older brother.
Ethan has flown down to Candy Cane Key to talk business with AJ. He wants to convince AJ to be part of his startup company. He needs his best friend. He is not happy that AJ and Olivia are out of town because he has to talk to his investors on Monday. He is also upset that the houseboat is being renovated while they are gone. Since there is the Christmas in July festival and a film being shot in town, Ethan is stuck staying in Andie’s apartment with her.
It was funny that AJ and Olivia got back at their siblings by mixing up the dates so Andie and Ethan would meet each other. Of course, they denied doing anything.
Ethan as come all the way to Candy Cane Key to see his best friend AJ who is with his sister, but when he gets there AJ as taken his girlfriend away on a trip and says they mixed the dates up. But AJ gets his sister Andie to pick him up.
Andie is in the set of a film when her brother messages her to pick up Ethan, but when they go to where he is meant to be staying he cant as its been painted, so Ethan as to stay with Andie. At first they both deny the chemistry between them, but then they cant anymore and spend the night together.
Ethan is there on business as he wants AJ to go into business with him, Can Ethan have the Business he as started to build and Andie or will he have to choose.
Will Andie find the love she wants in Ethan or is his business more important.
Andie and Ethan's meddling siblings think the pair would make a good couple and design a plan to get them together. Forced proximity at its finest. Neither wants to give in, but it soon becomes blindingly evident that they are attracted to each other.
This one surprised me as Ethan quickly began to acknowledge that there was more to Andie than just the fact that she looks good in a sexy elf costume. He's there to ask Andie's brother to head up the sales division of his new company until he gets to know her. She'd be more perfect for the job than her brother. I loved that he so quickly recognized that fact.
Another quick and steamy novella for the folks on Candy Cane Key.
Ethan (H) arrives in Candy Cane Key prepared to meet with his best friend, AJ, and convince him to come on board his startup. He’s not necessarily prepared for the OTT Christmas exuberance of CCK, especially since it’s Christmas in July and a holiday movie is filming in town, nor is he prepared for AJ’s sister Andie (h). Ethan and Andie quickly realize they’ve been set up, though they both have doubts about the other. Forced to stay with Andie in her small home, things quickly heat up and Ethan begins to see the appeal of island life. Sweet Candy Cane Key contemporary opposites-attract romantic quickie with a bit of angst.
This was a Brother’s Best Friend, Opposites Attract, Forced Proximity and Small Town Tropes. This serious is beginning to be my favourite. Love a bit of Christmas magic in July. This one was about Andie and Ethan's story. Andies's brother couldn't be here so she had to take care of Ethan when he came down to Candy Cane Key. They’re off limits but tell that to their hearts and Christmas magic. Loved it all and how their story unfolds to the perfect HEA. It's not easy path but they find their way and the spice 🥵. Just right Go read and find yourself some Christmas magic. Also love the name of all the businesses in Candy Cane Key.
Andie and Ethan are complete opposites, she is personable, laid back, fun and LOVES Christmas and Candy Cane Key. Ethan is....not. He is uptight, serious, detests Christmas and doesn't understand Candy Cane Key. It is lovely to see Ethan relax and begin to see the attraction Candy Cane Key holds, they have more in common than Andie ever thought possible and thankfully Ethan loves her brain and her business mind as much as he does her body! A flirty and fun addition to the series I read this on Kindle Unlimited.
This story is super cute and fun! Ethan is AJ's best friend and his sister is AJ's wife. Andie loves her home on the island and she loves Christmas. When Ethan arrives he's uptight; stuff and he seems like he wants to be anywhere but there with her. She is determined to show him what their town has to offer. Soon Ethan can't stop thinking about Andie and how much his life has been transformed by knowing her for just a few days! I love these insta love stories and this is no exception! Happy Reading!!
4.5 stars This is a fun, entertaining, short read. Ethan and Andie are such interesting, captivating, relatable characters. I loved their time on page together as they got to know each other and fell in love. It was fun to get to see their siblings enjoying their HEA. I love the world of Candy Cane Key and especially these wonderful characters.
I voluntarily read and reviewed an advanced copy of this book. All thoughts and opinions are my own.
Ethan arrives for a business meeting but gets Andie not AJ
Andie gets an urgent call from her brother AJ who needs her to pick up his buddy Ethan at the airport. Quickly they realise that AJ and Olivia have set up their siblings and it's a forced habitation situation. They don't hit it off right away because they are opposites but then it's clear they bring out the best in each other. Cute story and frozen Reindeer drinks too!
“Seduce Like a Siren” is part of the Man of the Month Club: Christmas in July spinoff series, and I thought it was short and sweet! Ethan and Andie were both likable characters, and I enjoyed their whirlwind romance. Even though they didn’t want to be set up with each other initially, I’m really glad they decided to give their relationship a shot. I would definitely recommend this novella for fans of small town romance and/or the brother’s best friend trope!!!
Ethan visits the Candy Kane Key where there is Christmas year around. He wants to meet an old Navy buddy and his little sister (they are a couple) to offer him a job. But his buddy isn't on the island, so his sister Andie picks Ethan up. These two meet and are kind of opposites , but their attraction is instant. They fall hard and fast for each other. Instalove, sweet, with steam, romantic ,fun to read and safe with a sweet HEA and no drama😍😍😍😍😍
Seduce Like a Siren is double the fun! Andie and Ethan return in this opposites attract novella filled with sass and steam. Ethan is so work-minded he misses the sand before his eyes. I love how playful Andie is, and her ability to get Ethan to see beyond work mode is delightful. The chemistry between these two sizzles and pop, and their intimate moments are yummy! I adore this couple just as much as I do AJ and Olivia.
When her brother asks her to help out his best friend Andie is thrown together with Ethan as she loses his suitcase, and must have him stay with her these two slowly find out they have a lot in common. I love their perfect story, and I would love to find a wonderful place like Candy Cane Key.
I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review. A little matchmaking brings Andie and Ethan together. They are the yin and yang of each other and make a wonderful couple.
I received this as an arc from the author and I’m voluntarily leaving my honest review.
This was a cute brother’s best friend romance. It was a short story with a good flow. I liked the storyline and the characters. Andie and Ethan had good chemistry and I liked their HEA.
This book was okay for me. It honestly wasn’t a favorite from the Candy Cane Key series of books. There was something about these two characters that just never connected with me but overall the story was okay.
Super cute story! I laughed several times, and really enjoyed the characters. Quick read, minimal spice (cover is definitely weird since it’s a pretty wholesome book lol). I loved the Christmas in July and Floridian theme too!
Heads up- not about a siren. This is a brother’s best friend, small town, island, Christmas in July, opposites attract novella. I just think the writing was a little stronger in the first half of the story.
