Goes behind the scenes of the most successful college football team of the 1980's to expose the big-time money corruption, and unremitting pressure to win that comes with being on top
An inside look into the Nebraska Cornhuskers primarily during the early to mid-80's. This book met with quite a bit of criticism at the time as not many fans of the program were willing to believe some of the stories in the book about the players. But, having been going to college there at that time, I'm pretty sure a lot of the things described really did go down. A little dated now, but worth a read if you are a Husker football fan and don't mind things too sugar coated.
