Energetic text and quirky illustrations combine to present the unforgettable tale of Bad Cat, a cool, calm, and collected kitty, who has a penchant for wild and crazy adventures in the Big Stinky city.
There's one thing fore sure: Bad Cat sure has quite the set of sharp teeth! This fun and silly story reminds me of a cross between Bad Kitty and Pete the Cat but never quite manages to live up to either.
é divertido, tem muita informação visual, mas tem uma mensagem bonita de nem sempre as pessoas verem as coisas boas que estamos a fazer e nos julgarem antecipadamente.

This book was extremely entertaining and it was colorful. The story line and the illustrations would keep the children engaged and interested. The text was all over the place though, so it could be hard for children to follow. This book is good for children in pre-school to first grade. Some of the words might be too hard for children of this age group so it would be important to read the book to them and explain the words. No awards found.
Apparently this cat is misunderstood. Everyone thinks he's bad until he runs away and then they discover he's actually done something nice. It's silly in a way that kids appreciate - "The Big Stinky" is the name he gives the city and "Mrs. Pooslop" is one of the characters.
It's been a while since I read this book to my son, but I remember the illustrations as very imaginative and the writing superb! I think there's also a version of the character in a city called the "Big Stinky." Fun!
Chip's favorite. We've read it every day, four days in a row. I love Tracy-Lee McGuinness-Kelly's art and have one of her prints on our living-room wall.
