Adrian Mitchell, FRSL, was an English poet, novelist and playwright. A former journalist, he became a noted figure on the British anti-authoritarian Left. For almost half a century he was the foremost poet of the country's anti-Bomb movement. The critic Kenneth Tynan called him the British Mayakovsky.

*Fun fact: I took a sneaky day off school and bumped into my principal anyhow. She never turned into the Charybdis though.
This is a wonderful introduction to the Odyssey. There's a little bit of background and a lot of high adventure which has definitely helped my kids in their early interest of history and literature.

This book is very interesting because people can debate whether Odysseus is a hero or not.My favorite part of the story is when Odysseus and his friends go to the island were the cyclops live in their cave.
