Kasper: A Standalone Royal Romance

Rate this book
She's used to hiding behind her career...but she can't hide from a prince.

Dr. Cate Browning was sharp, intelligent and, well awkward. After dedicating her professional life to marine conservation, Cate is granted a once in a lifetime opportunity to further her research in the Mediterranean country of Colovia. The destination is exotic and alluring, its appeal twofold: her long-time online acquaintance lives there.

Prince Kasper valued two things: privacy and his time at sea. When learning of an impending work-related visit from an enigmatic online peer, Kasper is surprised to learn the generic screen name belongs to a woman. Meeting the fiery Cate, his resolve and willpower are put to the ultimate test.

At first, it is easy for the two to cast their feelings of attraction aside; neither wants to ruin the friendship they have built. But when the line between friendship and relationship is blurred, both Cate and Kasper find it harder to justify their reason to remain platonic. When danger strikes at sea, they realize their true feelings; but will it be too late?

I actually finished this a while ago but apparently never marked it in Goodreads 😂 ugh I adored this book. I think it was my favorite of the series! The setting is gorgeous, the characters are fun, and as usual the twists keep you on your toes! I binged this one in like two days. Def recommend.

OystrDr and gh0stfish have been talking for a year through an online forum that was a “sub category dedicated to the sustainability of the world oceans”. When OystrDr finally got the chance to travel to Colovia to aid in the efforts of muscle conservation, they decide to meet up since that’s where gh0stfish lives. Since neither of them knew each other’s real names or even their gender, it was a surprise to both of them that OystrDr was a women named Cate, a marine biologist and gh0stfish was none other than Prince Kasper, heir to the throne of Colovia!!

This book was so adorable! I loved Kasper and Cate! They were awkward and hilariously quirky. Piper Collins is a brilliant writer and I can’t wait to see what she comes up with next!

OystrDr and Gh0stfish have been friends for a year now in an online environmental platform Clamor

OystrDr aka Dr.Cate Browning a Marine Biologist, who loves her job.

Gh0stfish aka Prince Kasper of Colovia, who loves his privacy and is respected by everyone around him.

Now Cate is visiting Colovia for her project. There is an undeniable attraction between them from the first time they meet. Would they acknowledge it? The expedition they are going to has the answer for that.

Cate and Kasper are both sweet and loving characters. This book was so mesmerizing it felt like I made a quick scuba diving trip. Loved this. On the whole it was such a heart-warming and a refreshing read which makes you wonder what next. Thank you Piper Collins for sharing me the ARC COPY.

Riddled with humour, banter, romance, chemistry, suspense, and a dash of action this beautifully written story friends to lovers story was impossible to put down so I simply devoured in one sitting.
Prince Kasper (aka ghOstfish) and Marine Biologist Cate (aka OystrDr) have been online friends for a year discussing a mutual passion, the Ocean. When opportunity brings Cate to Colovia they decide to finally meet face to face.
Not only is Cate surprised when she discovers Kasper is a gorgeous Prince, Kasper is shocked to discover his online friend (OystrDr) is actually a woman, a gorgeous woman he is instantly drawn to. The journey between the shy and slightly awkward Prince Kasper, and the no filter, hilarious, and quirky Cate is heartwarming and hilarious. A truly enjoyable read, I can't wait to see what's next from Piper Collins.

Awkward and shy crowned prince meets an exuberant marine biologist online - little does he know that he just met a woman who will set him on his head.

Kasper is the most reluctant and awkward prince and I liked him from page one - I do wish he had a little more action to him. Cate is an awkward nerd and a marine biologist but I am not sure I ever totally fell for her. Their chemistry is sweet and their meet-cute killed me.

I received a complimentary copy of this book. Opinions expressed in this review are completely my own.

Prince Charming, a quirky marine biologist, and intrigue on the Mediterranean Sea. Kasper and Cate both share a love for the ocean and have been online friends for a year. Life brings the two together along with their passion for the sea and each other. While the heat builds between the two friends, they'll have to fight off more than their feelings as they decide their fate. Piper Collins weaves together a swoonworthy friends-to-lovers tale about two opposites who were meant to be together. Don't miss out on this charmer!

Kasper is the third novel in A Crown Prince Chronicles. It can be read as a standalone.
The story flowed well, and kept me engaged. The characters Prince Kasper and Dr. Cate were great. They had fun, flirty banter. I liked how past character were seen in eachother's stories too. I enjoyed this charming, friends to lovers, suspenseful read.
