The friend, Amy, in this book was my mother-in-law's favourite aunt. It is a fascinating read but even more special for my family.

The author of this book is a cousin of Lucy's. It is partially the diary and drawings done by one of their relatives, a woman, who lived in Paris as an artist in the late 1800s. It was a fascinating read.
