The Bible in a Nutshell: The Director's Cut

Rate this book
The Bible is the most purchased and least read book on the planet.

Most homes have at least one bible in them and yet most Christians if asked anonymously will tell you they've never actually read it. But why? Isn't it called the "Good Book"? If it's such a good book then why don't more people read it?

The truth is that the bible is actually a daunting read. Most people don't want to dive into the massive nearly 800,000 words that make up the bible. This is especially true of books such as Deuteronomy or Judges which are just a trudge of lineage that will bore most people to tears.

Enter The Bible in a Nutshell ! It's the Bible... but it isn't your grandpa's bible. It's all of the most notable stories from the bible told from the perspective of an atheist who thinks fairytales should be told with a bit more flare. This book isn't meant for Christians, although reading it might give them some things to think about, but rather is meant for those who have never read the bible and don't actually care to die of boredom. In this version one can learn all the most notable stories of the bible while also hopefully having a few laughs and reading something they can actually enjoy.

So grab your copy and get to know The Bible as you've never known it before.

Casper Rigsby is a 34 year old husband and father. He is the author of the bestselling title The Bible in a Nutshell, a prominent blogger at Atheist Republic, and a very vocal advocate for out of the closet atheism. His works seek to address fundamentalism at its roots through theological and philosophical discourse, which is also highly irreverent and often even blasphemous. His straight-forward and blunt approach can be abrasive to some and refreshing to others.
