I skimmed most of them ok !

Like I think as a textbook this was a bit lengthy and didn’t really give me the information I needed or wanted even after 25536 pages in one chapter! Like it had a lot of theoretical things or slightly connected things but never really directly addressed most of the theories I wanted to learn about.

This was a book I read for the masters of education program I’m in. It was SUPER interesting and informative. The research was extremely thorough and presented in an informative and engaging way. Of course the authors make their inferences but it was intriguing to hear the research and the “why” behind the theories. If you’re interested in learning how and why adults learn, this is a great book for you. I do feel like it helped me better understand motives both innate and obvious as to how the brain works in adults vs kids and how learning really is different.
