When the mind has achieved absolute calm and silence, it can concentrate on the Inner Self. This concentration is done with the help of prayer. Pray to your Inner Self. Try to converse with your Inner Self. Remember that praying is conversing with God. You can pray without formulae; in other words, talk to God, tell Him what your heart feels with infinite love. - Samael Aun Weor

I want to give a review of "A Gnostic Prayer Book: Collected Prayers, Mantras, and Meditations" written by Rev. Dr. Michael Faust. This book is a collection of prayers, mantras, and meditations from the Gnostic tradition that offers spiritual insights and practices exploring the mystic elements of Christianity.

Key Points:

Wide Collection: The author brings together many prayers from different sources in the Gnosticism that are designed for meditation hence they provide a deep insight into this stream of spirituality.

Easy Language: It has simple language hence it suits newbies to gnosticism as well those who are familiar with its ideas.

Spiritual Depth: What readers like about this text is the way it provides in-depth spiritual realization through prayerful reflection which have change as their emphasis and often mystical experience.

Historical Perspective: In addition to these religious exercises’ significance within their own tradition, there is some historical background on gnosticism in relation to this publication.

Factors:

Targeted Readership: It is particularly aimed at individuals who would like to know more about or deepen their knowledge about Gnostic spirituality.
