She has a new career and a promising relationship, but will the secrets of her past ruin her hopes for the future?
No matter where she lived, Kimberly Ann Dane considered the Dane Crown Inn her home. As a child, Kim looked forward to frequent visits to the inn where she enjoyed building sand castles on Emerald Bay’s sandy beaches, learning to cook in the inn’s spacious kitchen and hunting for buried treasure with her cousins. As she grew older, she paid her way through college by working summers and school holidays at the inn. It’s no wonder that—divorced, at odds with her grown children and hoping to make a fresh start—Kim returns to the one place she’s always been welcomed with open arms. But things have changed. Kim’s cousins have scattered and face problems of their own. And the inn, which was once hailed as the “gem of Florida’s Treasure Coast,” has lost its luster. Kim has barely settled into her old room at the top of the stairs when her Aunt Margaret shocks the entire family with the news that she has decided to sell the estate that has been in the Dane family for more than fifty years. Before she does, though, Margaret asks Kim and her cousins to make one final wish come true.
While Kim and her cousins work to fulfill their aunt’s last request, they begin to rebuild the closeness they once treasured. As the women work to restore the inn to its former glory, a new career and a promising relationship with Emerald Bay’s most eligible bachelor open up a world of fresh possibilities for Kim. But when hidden secrets come to light, will her past ruin Kim’s hopes for a second chance at happiness?
The Emerald Bay Series
After a lifetime of running the finest inn in Emerald Bay, Margaret Clayton has to make a decision … sell the Dane Crown Inn to a stranger or put her hopes for the future in her family’s hands. For most people, the choice would be simple. But nothing about her family is simple … especially not with her daughter and four nieces whose help Margaret needs now more than ever.
The five cousins know the inn as well as Margaret does. As young girls and teenagers, they spent every summer keeping the cottages and suites spotless, and enjoying the gorgeous beach as a tight knit family. Thirty years later, though, these five women have complicated, important, distant, and utterly packed lives. The last thing any of them can do is drop everything and save the inn. But, when it comes to family, the last thing is sometimes the only thing.
As the once-close cousins come together on the glorious shores of Florida’s Treasure Coast, they learn that some things never change, but others can never be the same. And the only thing that matters is family which, like the Dane Crown Inn, is forever.

Leigh Duncan is an Amazon best-selling author and a National Readers' Choice Award winner, the author of more than two dozen novels, novellas and short stories. However, the biggest thrill of her career--so far!--came when she saw her book, Journey Back to Christmas, featured on the Home and Family Show after Hallmark Publishing chose Journey to introduce its new line of romance novels. Her newest Hallmark Publishing release, A Simple Wedding, and her upcoming A Cottage Wedding (6/2/20) are the first of several books in Leigh's Heart's Landing series. These sweet, contemporary romances take place in a small town known as America's Top Wedding Destination, and each book centers on one couple who fall in love in Heart's Landing.
Fans of the Dane family rejoice. The second book in the saga is even better than the first, deepening the ties among the five women and revealing new facets to each one. I can't remember when I've enjoyed a saga as much as this one, and the good news is that there are still more books to come. I can't wait!
Heartwarming and angsty! The second book in Leigh Duncan's Emerald Bay series continues laying the groundwork of this family coming together to support their ailing aunt/mom in remodeling endeavors with the inn near and dear to all of their hearts in hopes of holding one final family reunion bash before selling the inn.
I really like the premise of this story and the characters are all intriguing in their own right, but I really am not fond of the flow of the series at all. This book in particular ended super abruptly right in the middle of a scene making it feel cliff-hanger-like by default. I seriously felt like the file was corrupt and there should have been more attached, that's how ill timed it was. The blurb also makes it feel like this book is centered on Kim, when in fact each cousin gets fairly equal time in the spotlight again other than Scott who isn't present in this book at all. The flow of the story would work much more efficiently for reader comprehension if one book centered on each character as much as possible and then tied them all together in a final book centered around the reunion. I'll probably continue reading, but I for-see more irritation in my future. This is not a stand-alone series.
Good second book in series. Bad things happen to good people! Unfortunately, bad things are happening to three of the five cousins in the first portion of the book, and I had trouble “liking” them and decisions they had made in their lives. While it was necessary to understand why Diane, Belle and Jen would contemplate a huge change in their lives and actually relocate to the Dane Crown Inn at a time when they are needed, I felt it took too many pages to get there—and one cousin still hasn’t arrived. I enjoyed Amy and Kim’s stories and was happy to see some actual progress in refurbishing the inn by the end of this installment. This is definitely a series where the early books feed the story for the later ones—and I find it hard to wait a couple. Oaths for the next installment. I definitely see hints of twists and turns the author may explore in the next four books as each cousin, hopefully, forges a stronger, better version of themself and forms or heals relationships with others while maintaining the bond with each other. I did receive a free copy of this book from Booksprout and have followed and enjoyed this author for a number of years.
This was a promising 2nd story of a series. Margaret was recovering, the cousins are working to get the Inn ready for sale and one more family reunion. Lots and lots to be done with not much money to do it with. Everyone thought Belle was rolling in money, but she had spent it all. She fnially found something to sell that would help and things were looking up. Kim thought she and Craig had a moment and then she thought maybe not, then he and his nephew showed up to help paint the cabins. Fingers crossed. Diane went back to work and then had to leave suddenly to help her daughter, so she might be out of a job, but I'm not sure she cares. Also there is the issue with Diane's husband, Tim, who moved out and took a cruise without her. Is he coming back or is there marriage over? These women are so strong. They are all having struggles, but have a strong backbone. I love it.

I would firstly just like to say a big thank you to the author, who very kindly forwarded me an arc copy of this book, for my kindle, in return for my honest review.
Treasure Coast Promise is actually book number four from the ‘Emerald Bay’ series and is a wonderful and ‘real’ saga and i really enjoyed it.
This book, again centres around the ladies at Dane Crown Inn and was such an easy and intriguing read, that i just had to keep turning the pages so that i could find out what was going to happen next.
Even though each character has their own problems you will always find them coming together to help each other.
I enjoyed this book, it was heartwarming, real, down-to-earth and i could relate to what was going on…….
Treasure Coast Promise I love the writing style that Leigh delivers, and to tell you I love it feels like an understatement. It reads like magic. So much to love about this book! The Dane Crown Inn needs updating and Margaret needs help, which comes in the form of her nieces and daughter. Kim, Amy, Diane, and Belle. Each chapter is in the view of one of the cousins and daughter, each has their own story going on. Treasure Coast Promise has been brilliantly written with strong characters and a very good storyline. I was engaged from the beginning till the end, I highly recommend this book to all and am looking forward to reading the next in the series.

Kim comes to stay with Aunt, talks to Craig about the house and starting catering business. He comes to the house to help them paint. Diane goes back to Tampa to realize her daughter had a party and gets kicked off team then starts a fight gets kicked out of school she brings her to the Inn. After getting her boss mad at her, not sure if she has a job. Jen is in Vegas not making enough to live. She calls they ask her to come home. Amy is just running sweet cakes The Aunts daughter- she lost label contract and had to tell the band bye, Jason from the label takes her out on a “date” she sold the painting to have money.
The story continues as the women decide to do what they can to renovate the Inn. But doing that means money and that is something they are lacking. As they reminisce about the wonderful things they did as children, they are determined to complete Margaret’s request. Follow each cousin as they describe their past, their endeavors, and handling the present. You can sense the love between the cousins and how they support each other. What a family!

I liked returning to Emerald Bay, Florida and the Dane Crown Inn. It was such fun to catch up with all of the cousins after Aunt Margaret broke her arm. It seemed like most of the cousins had their own issues to deal with besides trying to fix up the Inn to sell. Those issues were quite interesting and made me quickly want to read to find out how everything would end for each of the cousins. It ended with a cliffhanger! I received an advance copy of this book and I willingly chose to write an honest review.
We may not have it all together, but together we have it all......Family
The cousins have returned and they are determined. They are set on fulfilling Margaret's last request to hold probably what will be their last family reunion. It's a daunting task as they struggle to come up with the funds to pull it off and bring the Dane Crown Inn up to snuff.
Also, each one of the cousins have their own personal conflicts within their own families. Following this family and seeing the love they all share for Margaret makes my heart smile.
The emotions are still flowing in book no 2. This book gets down to the nitty gritty of all the ladies at Dane Crown Inn.
Even though each character is dealing with their own issues/concerns you will see them come together in a way family does when there is a bump in the road.
You will see possible new friendships forming.
The story line could be of any family around the world because it has real and relatable struggles.
I really enjoyed this book and looking forward to what is going to happen to the ladies in book no 3.
Delightful story, a special time of sharing memories with families of time spent here. The love they have for one another as they gather to fix the aunt's place. Family the up and downs of their lives, they met every summer for two weeks in the Florida sun. The aunt requested one last gathering before selling. Her hopes that the traditions would be for them to carry on without her selling. These woman have the courage to do what is needed, read as they share. Along with their own families struggles and decisions that were needed. Given arc for my voluntary review and my honest opinion
Treasure Coast Promise is the second book in the Emerald Bay series which continues the renovations of the Dane Crown Inn by its family members. The book is focused on Kim, Belle, Amy, and Diane as they assist Margaret’s goal of preparing the Inn for a future real estate sale. This well written book has great characters, drama, secrets, past reminiscences, individual problems within their lives, and the rebuilding of family relationships.

This is my voluntary review of a copy I received from Booksprout.
All the cousins that live away from town have reached points in their lives that will allow them to return to the Dane Crown. Though not all have returned yet.
A few little things start coming together to give some of the family members hope. Cute and helpful neighbors, encouraging business plans, and a planned schedule to fix up the Dane Crown in time for their family reunion without having to shut it down.
Such a delightful coastal beach, family saga that will capture your attention and heart. The characters were so well developed and really pulled you into their story. As a family they come together to help each other and the inn. This story has secrets, love, adversity, mystery, suspense. It's a wonderfully charming, heartwarming beach read.

Definitely not a stand alone book. Make sure you read book 1 to be able to understand book 2. There were parts of this one that got me excited to read further but then it would abruptly change characters and I lost interest again. I just feel this series is very disjointed and doesn’t flow like previous series.
HOLY WOW!!!! I need MORE! Seriously, Leigh Duncan has outdone herself with this new series. Once I started this book I couldn’t put it down. I had to force myself to get some sleep. Seeing a family come together like this shows what families are supposed to be about. Family helping family.
This book has all the feels and very heartfelt. I highly recommend this series.
Book 2 in this fabulous series will keep you turning the pages and unable to put it down. It's well written, flows smoothly through the pages and keeps you wanting more. The characters are engaging and fun to get to know.

I loved this book. Leigh has a wonderful way to draw you into the lives of her characters. Each of the cousins help to keep their promise to Aunt Margaret. I especially enjoyed how Diana grows throughout this process. I won’t give any more details. I’ll leave it up for you to read .

As usual for this author, this book continues the story started in the first book. The characters are engaging and the plot moves along realistically. It’s a fun book to read with lots of surprises. Highly recommend.

A good light-hearted read about family challenges and ultimate happiness. Plots aren't deep, nor are the characters, but enjoyable nonetheless. None of the series concludes with any outcome, which is a weakness. The next in the series just picks up where the last left off, like another chapter, not a standalone book.
This book is an outstanding read that has wonderful characters and beautiful scenery. It's a heartwarming family saga that has mystery, suspense, drama and romance. It's the perfect beach read.

The characters are very supportive and driven to get the beloved resort back to its original glory. I read this book in one setting and loved it. Recommended
