I would like to give this book a 3.5, only because I felt like a majority of the book was off-topic. The writing itself was good, and it kept me interested throughout the read, but the fact that each topic was digressed to something only remotely related was a big turnoff. Anyone who would like to read a book that addresses the true feeling of flying, the actual reasons we get in planes, and the transcendence associated with aviation must read The Flying Mystique. For the record, I give this book three-and-a-half stars.
