It’s All in My Head is a headfirst dive into the flood of emotions that having mental illness can bring. Millions of people worldwide suffer from anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder, or one of the many other issues that impact our brain chemistry. This book is a gut-wrenching look at the heartache and pain behind those personal battles. It is a glimpse behind the mirror and into the soul. Gremsly uses poetry to convey the struggle with one’s demons and the strength it takes to overcome them each and every day.
Please be aware that this book contains poetry covering sensitive topics. There is mention of suicide, mental illness, death and dying, and self-harm. These topics may be difficult for some readers.
An eye opening look at what goes on inside the mind of those affected by mental illness. Gremsley is a very talented poet. I’m glad that he has this outlet and that he has opened himself up to share his work with others.
Once again my poetic brother in arms brings his words to the written page. Cathartic for him and words we can feel and understand. Mental health poetry pieces are written as it comes out of us, it's not a nice subject but we live it, day by day and Alfred shows us in his own battle with the words he shares. For that I thank him, I stand by him. Find your contentment, brother.
