Last week was 60 years post the assassination of JFK in Dallas Texas. We watched a show on the history channel and of course I had to find a book.
This was a first hand witness from a surgical/trauma resident who received JFK as a patient as well as John Connolly and Lee Harvey Oswald.
There was very compelling evidence of a larger head injury as seen by the medical team. Add to that, the political implications. Will we ever really know what happened? Much to think about.

'Trauma Room One-The JFK Medical Coverup Exposed' (2001) is a revised and expanded version of Crenshaw/Hanson/Shaw's 'JFK:Conspiracy of Silence' from 1992. The first half of this book consists of the recollections of Dr Charles Crenshaw, one of the trauma team on duty at Parkland Hospital over that momentous weekend in Dallas. Crenshaw provides first hand testimony of the fight to save JFK's life, as well as credible desciptions of his patients wounds with his belief in both shots from the front. The chronological running of events which intersperse Crenshaw's narrative clearly come from Hanson and Shaw and climax on Sunday November 24th '63 when Dr. Crenshaw is once again called to Trauma Room Two in vain efforts to save the alleged assassin.
The latter chapters include very valuable contributions from D. Bradley Kizzia J.D., J. Gary Shaw, Gary Aguilar M.D. and Cyril Wecht M.D. J.D., which provide further updates and insights on the trail laid down by David Lifton and Jim Garrison...namely that the President's autopsy at Bethesda Naval Hospital contains more holes than Blackburn, Lancashire.

This book caught me off guard. I was set out with the idea that this book wasn't going to hold any new information. But alas it had tons of information I had not been previously exposed to. But more to the point it confirms a lot of David Lifton's (Best Evidence) hypotheses about the time line of the presidents body. It was a quick read and was very well put together.

I think some people might be turned off of the book because they think that they are promoting conspiracies, but I implore you to read this. I absolutely could not put this book done. Until I got to the end… I felt like the very last chapter which spans 75 pages dragged on forever. The information was not the terrible part, nor was the new people. It was the fact that information and people could only be rebranded in so many ways. I’ll be honest, I started to question if I should finished the book because of the amount of times I heard about missing photographs or even the word JAMA. I think the issue was a lack of organization more than anything else. Besides that I was really happy with the book and was enthralled by the recount.

This eye witness account of trying to save JFK in Parkland Hospital’s trauma room one, Governor Connealy in trauma room 2, and later Lee Oswald in trauma room 2 amongst the backdrop of a busy hospital includes extremely telling pieces of evidence and events, most importantly being the nature of the President’s wounds.

The added second half of the book refutes the claims that tried to discredit Crenshaw, evidence and witnesses to the altered autopsy and over 240 source citations.

A must read for anyone trying to make sense of this incomprehensible story we have been sold by our government.

The first MD witness!

The true facts have been buried along with J. F. K. and covered up by many since by intimidation, fear, and ignorance. Some true facts here point strongly to an official cover-up.
Sifting through the information fog is essential for an informed conclusion. The view of the first medical witness being denied, refuted and ridiculed simply challenges authority to pose the question - why?

First hand account of what happened the day JFK was shot from the surgeon who tried to save his life and 2 days later his alleged assassin Lee Harvey Oswald. I found this book incredibly fascinating. After a recent trip to Dallas and visiting the scene of the crime I was left with many questions and wanting to know more and this book delivered.

The medical facts were very interesting, but the writing was atrocious.
