What presents as an introduction to Animism is simply a front for racist and Christian-centric rhetoric and propaganda. Facts and fiction are intertwined, leading the unwary or uncritical reader to the belief that Animism is inherently wrong, their leaders are corrupt rapists, and its practitioners are secretly yearning for Christian Missionaries to come save them from the darkness.
