Stanley Marcus does a great job at succinctly laying out principles that have helped him lead a successful life. While dated, the book is still very relevant today and does a good job at highlighting how many themes common today have existed at times in the past as well.
Stanley Marcus was an inspiring thinker, leader, and writer. A gifted man that shared his ideas with the rest of us and we are all better for it. Not as strong as "Minding the Store" - this compendium of his Dallas Morning News writings and columns is simply outstanding.
