this book isn't anything special - but it's a pretty detailed account of metallicas career from the beginning to 1992. nothing special but worth a read. there's a couple really minor bits of incorrect information (John Marshall of metal church, who filled in for James hetfield after his arm injuries, is called 'Jim'), but they're small and the book still works fine.
