A tale of friendship, belongingness and religion, left me wondering books like these exist in Indian literature and we still let the politicians play with religion while ignoring all other important things of society such as employment, empowerment and empathy.

We already know better through our stories, but we choose division over progress.

One of the best books I've read in a long time. We are in 2025 and book is set only few years post independence and nothing has changed. We are at the same position. Thoda maine bhi khud ko topi ki jgh paaya kbhi kisi aur ki. Behatreen pustak.

ये किताब हिन्दी की श्रेष्ठतम किताबों में से एक है। टोपी की दुनिया में उसके आसपास के लोग उसके लिए बहुत ज़रूरी हैं। उनके बिना वह अधूरा है लेकिन वह उन लोगों को खुश रखने के लिए उन्हें झूठी खुशी नहीं देता ब्लकि सच बोलता है। लोग उससे दूर होते हैं लेकिन वह नहीं। रेवोल्यूशन ही उसका एकमात्र ज़रिया है जिंदा रहने के लिए और वह अपने उसूलों से कभी समझौता नहीं कर सकता चाहे उसके लिए उसे अपनी जान ही क्यूँ ना देनी पढ़ जाये।
