In Wild Ride, Bia Lowe weaves a collection of essays together to look life—the good and the ugly—and human connection. Her essays are full of thought provoking metaphors and “Allergy” is no exception. In this essay she relates allergies to the brokenness of life, a metaphor for the disruption in the order of things.
I think the last paragraph of this book sums it all up...within that paragraph is a question for the author "What is your book about" That's what I want to know cause I just didn't get it, at all. You can write but about what I have no idea. This was a jumbled up hodge-podge of a mess.
In Bia Lowe's essays, she provides thought provoking metaphors for occurrences in everyday life. Some thoughts make you laugh, some will make you squirm. I think the collection is weird and lovely.
