The ‘100 things to know about science’ book is a fantastic method of introducing new knowledge to children within key stage 2. The nonfiction book provides an excellent introduction to the exciting aspects of science such as: DNA, genes and the construction of the world itself. As illustrated by its name, there are 100 facts included within the book making it educational but also very fun to read!

I personally, would use the facts included within the book as starter activities for my students to engage with. For example, from using the fact ‘the speed of light is faster than sound’, I would be able to interest my students into new areas of thinking and challenge them further.
However, despite this book being aimed at children more so then adults it is yet, purposeful to anyone who wishes to learn further about science in a quick, quirky and exciting way.

I think this book is very educational and fun to read. It teaches me science and some facts. In the book, there are 100 facts to tell you. Each fact has a picture on it so it could make you understand more clearly. For example, fact #4 tells you the Earth moves faster than anything on Earth. It has 2 pictures to show you the speed of other things on earth compared to the Earth. Also, fact #51 tells you that spider silk is twice as strong as steel wire. It has a picture to show you that what makes spider silk so strong. In conclusion, it is a very useful and educational book to read and I really recommend it to my classmates.

This book tells you up to 100 different fascinating facts.
It is a really enjoyable non fiction book that you can learn from and makes reading easier and
more fun for children. I definitely recommend this book to anyone, even grown ups. I have read this book at least 10 times. Also containing many pictures to help you understand, I think everyone should have it. It is a must read😊

I found this in an air bnb and started it as a white book to flick through to finish my 2022 reading challenge on time. I didn’t finish it on time. Partly because it was surprisingly interesting and educational: as a University student doing a BSc I still learnt lots of new things! It was very digestible and illustrations were brilliant!

An easy format to follow but not exciting enough, each page was presented with similar graphics

Many facts I already knew as an adult, but probably children don't know so much yet. But also plenty of facts that I didn't know and were explained well enough to understand. Nice illustrations also.

Hermosamente ilustrado. Datos concisos y comprensibles.

I really enjoyed reading this book on science as it really makes me feel curious in the ever-expanding scientific world. There are definitely some jaw-dropping interesting facts that this book will cover. For example, whales USED to walk on four legs many many many years ago.
I recommend this book to children who likes interesting facts on science.

Kiva, vähän pienemmille suunnattu tietokirja. Sopii selailuun ja faktojen bongailuun, yhtäjaksoinen lukeminen on vähän levotonta.
