Evie is a bad a$$ FMC who’s sent to a school for kids whose families run organized crime groups (like the Italian mafia or the Russian Bratva) to get revenge for her parents who were tragically murdered when she was 11.
I read this book too fast because I needed to know what happened next and how everything unfolded. The ending blew me away! I immediately had to dm Taylor because I was in shock. I had an inkling of distrust for one of the characters but I didn’t expect everything that happened.
Our 3 MMCs are Alexi, Lev and Damien. I liked them all but Lev 🫠 The scene after class, the tension with him and a certain someone 🥵 I loved him!
Chapter 33 & chapter 38 😮💨
There wasn’t a group smut scene but everything is building up to lead that way. I can’t wait for book 2! This was a great debut novel. 🖤

The rate is 2.5. I can't decide if I like it or hate it.
The concept was promising, but it didn't pull out like it promised. Instead, we are left with a goddamn mess to shift through.
The randomness and awkward settings were a turn-off. The dudes came off as someone who dipped their oreos in water cuz their dad didn't return with the milk. There were so many daddy issues and everyone's mom was fucking dead, talk about mommy complex.
The best parts were the action scenes. Not the cringy sex ones provided, but the actual fighting. That was fun to read. The chick wasn't too annoying and that's not the usual case. She wasn't lovable, don't get too excited. She was a fumbling smart person. It doesn't make sense but that's the best i can do to describe her. She wasn't a fucking idiot and she was never not getting fucking hurt. Like what the hell dude and your brittle ass, stop almost dying!
It really was easy to figure out the villain. This one is a cliché one, and the additional "suspects" list was fucking overwhelming. There's also additional POVs that threw you off as one of them wasn't a love interest, but I guess the other one was ok? I don't fucking know. I really wanted to throw my girl Alex under for this book, but alas, I can't decide if it's hate or love cuz I'm really black and white, where it's 1 star or 5 lmao, so here we fucking are.

This book held my attention from page 1.
Evie is on a revenge mission to avenge he murder of her parents when she was a child. She endured tons of heinous, brutal things that shined a spotlight on her perseverance. She is so resilient, so badass, so stubborn. Her character goes through some growth throughout the book with learning to trust and build relationships.
Lev is your quiet artist/tech guy that doesn’t usually fight, but waged war on those he loves. Although he’s quiet, there are some parts where he definitely surprises you.
Damien is your big, tatted, damaged, fighter of a cinnamon roll. He’s the one that’s lighthearted and cracks the jokes and is a total softie for his SO. He also gets a boner for being abused 🤣😂 But Damien also has a dark side and a dark past. Can he overcome his trauma enough to not let it interfere in his current life?
Alexi. Daddy Lex. That’s my man right there. He’s your proper, broody, asshole of a caretaker. He’s the head honcho of the group and calls the shots. Evie and Alexi go toe to toe with their stubborn attitudes. Alexi is used to unwavering submission. Evie does not take kindly to people telling her what to do. Alexi’s punishments can be quite severe and humiliating. Evie pushes him past his limits and let’s just say, Lex bursts with arousing fury. But he’s also one that will surprise you as young wet to know him.
Let’s talk spice and plot. The spice was pretty good. There wasn’t a ton of it as the story is more plot based and character/world building. But what there was of it is pretty good. Only complaint is I needed more 😂
The setting is at a Mafia Academy where they learn all the things. How to make alliances, poisons, fighting, weapons…it’s a whole vibe. The plot had a bit of a twist that I saw coming but then doubted it, then was like…I knew it! There’s a bit of mystery that has you scratching your chin, a lot of backstabbing, enemies turned alliances.
Overall, I enjoyed the story, and I think it was a good debut book and great setup for book 2. This is an honest review, not influenced based on relationships because I’m not the type to hold back on what I really think. Which is why T. R. Oldin recruited me. I’m incredibly proud of the her for having the courage to put this out there and happy to call her a friend🖤 I can’t wait to see where book 2 takes us and to see her grow as a writer.

Where do I even start with this review!
This has become one of my absolute favourite reads of the year!
I was hooked from the start and these boys are completely wrapped around my heart and soul!
💫Evie -
this girl is one mf badass!! Everything she has gone through and she's not only still standing, she's fighting!
These men do NOT make it easy on her but she definitely gives as good as she gets!
The trauma she has gone through is done in detail and the recovery/processing isn't just glossed over ... its raw and its real!
💫Alexi -
The Blue-eyed beauty .... but don't be fooled by his dark broodyness and good looks... he's a monster ... Kinda 😅 He took the most for me to warm to him but my god this man! I can't wait to see where his character goes ... His redemption arc in this was done brilliantly even down to the other men (his brothers) having issues with his behaviour!
💫Damien -
He is just a big cuddly bear 🥹 I love him soo much. He has his problems the same as the others but seeing him open up and show his softer side had me absolutely melting!! I still wouldn't like to be on his bad side ...although the punishments would be worth it 😅😅

I would do anything for this beautiful soul! He's the quieter one of three but if you piss him off, you will definitely see that other side to him. They always say its the quiet ones you have to watch 👀👀 Honestly this man made me laugh, swoon and cry .....

This book blowed me away with secrets, actions, suspense and mysteries. I was hooked just from reading Prologue till epilogue. The story was fantastic and made my jaw drop everytime the secrets reveals. Damn! I don't even know what to say here except I fucking loved it! All the characters are amazing and unique in their own ways.
I love Evie because she's pretty cool badass, smart, and reckless FMC. And The Kings?!! DAMN. I need them like I need air. Phew... They're just awesome. Especially Lev because he's a sweetie and nerdy guy, then there's Damien who is a literal Sunshine even though he's a brute of a man. Finally, Alexi, man. I want him to call me his princess. He's a control freak and dominating man but I love him even though he annoyed me.
Ughh, I can't wait to see more of them together in book 2.

This book was so good. It made my mafi@ loving heart happy. I will always read a book with a kick@ss FMC and Evie is top tier. She’s been through so much and I lived to read her chapters where she rocked everyone’s world 😂

Oh my god, I don’t even know where to start. This is quite possibly my favorite mafia book I’ve read to date, and I’ve read quite a few. And I’m not saying that because I’m friends with the author, I genuinely mean this is a fantastic book, with so many twists and turns, great writing, perfect balance of spice and plot. The character depth and world building was top tier. I cannot say enough good things about this book. Let’s dive into it, shall we?
First of all, Evie is a bad bitch. She has gone through so much trauma and the person she is on the other side of it all, is just incredible. She is not afraid to put these boys in their place, while at the same time pull them out of the shells they’ve buried so deep within themselves. She’s incredible.
Alexi is the leader of their trio. He’s the one always with a plan, ready to execute it at any moment, no matter what it is. But in the shadow of his father, he’s got a lot to live up to.
Damien is such a cinnamon roll. As the enforcer, he has to be hard, but really as you get to know him, truly know him, he’s such a softie and the comedic relief of the trio, even though sometimes it would be easier for him to lash out due to his own abusive upbringing.
Lev…my love Lev. I don’t generally gravitate towards the golden retriever of the group, but Lev pulled me into his orbit early on and didn’t let go. I freaking LOVE this character. He’s the quiet techie, but he stood up for Evie every step of the way from start to finish and he’s definitely a top 5 book boyfriend of the year for me.
They all, and the rest of their classmates, are the next generation of leaders of different mafia organizations from around the world sent to Mafie University to learn how to run their families’ businesses. From finance to hand to hand combat to driving techniques to evasive training, they learn how to be the next mafia leaders and build connections along the way. The Kings run the school and dish out punishments when the rules are broken. They soon find out that Evie doesn’t like being told what to do, and she has her own agenda for being there anyway. Her one goal in life is seeking revenge on the man who killed her parents, nothing and no one can stop her.

Before I start this review I have a few words to say about this book. I connected with this author through discord. And through the power of social media I was enlisted as an editor/alpha reader/beta reader/all rounder for MK. I am super proud of the work we have put into this book, and I am aware that people will have differing opinions because not everyone has the same wants/likes or needs. The plot for me is deep and the characters are strong and there was A LOT of research into the trauma that these characters go through from REAL LIFE people. If that isn't something that you can handle then please heed my warning and don't read this book. Although we are now family, and we put blood, sweat and tears into this book, this is an honest review. DO NOT be fooled and think I went easy on her during the editing process, because I did not. I pushed her boundaries and added to her perspectives and where I could used my experiences as education. This book was a journey. It is my first offical editing credit, but I work hard for the authors I work with and it has bonded us for life, and I am so proud of all of us that worked on this book, because without us finding each other - it wouldn't be what it was.

Mafie University is an elite school that trains the most elite of the Mafia Underworld. Through specific classes, and tailored subjects, these members learn the tools they will need and the tricks of the trade to become the best of the best and take on the legacies of their families before them.
Evie - Evie is the most damaged FMC I have ever had the privilege of reading. She has withstood and overcome more trauma than most people could cope with (as a living person who has basically been her I can relate. Unfortunately it does happen). She is the true definition of a survivor. In her quest for vengeance she becomes one of the highest ranking members in the school. But not by accident. She works hard for that title. The only one to take on The Kings in the biggest challenge MU has ever set, she has to learn to live with the consequences whichever way the cards may fall. Who will win? Will she survive? Or will she be the undoing of her competitors?
Lev - Lev is an old soul. Kind and compassionate and easy to love. The kind of guy that wants to sit behind his screen and do what he's best at, but would kill you slowly if you hurt what's his. The logical thinker. Until he's betrayed. Can those relationships be fixed? Or are they dead to him forever?
Damien - the fighter of the bunch. The one who will not hesitate to cut you, whether you deserve it or not, if it helps him protect the people he loves. Damaged and broken and a closed book, has he found the people that can turn the pages with ease? The people that can read his story, without judgement and love him despite his flaws and scars? Because we all know that whilst scars can be ugly, they tell a hell of a story.
Alexi - the daddy of the bunch. The one you want to hate, but can't help but fall in love with. The boss. The one that will break you where you fall in order to teach you a lesson. Can he break Evie? Or is he the one to learn the lessons he never thought he could be taught? Fighting his own demons, can he come through and fight the others as well?
Whilst this book has a lot of characters, and is a RH, please keep in mind that your questions will be answered. This is the first in a series. It is multiple POV and there will be twists and turns you may or may not see coming. You will see love and affection. But you will also see darkness and hatred. Blood will be on everyone's hands and some parts may leave a bitter taste in your mouth, but ultimately in the end it will come full circle and the realisations will hit you and the pieces will fall into place.
The spicy scenes in this book I wouldn't recommend reading in a room full of people (I'm not someone who squirms in their seat but there are a couple of scenes that I did) and it may be wise to keep your boyfriend/husband handy 🌶👀😈👹
There is a beautiful exploration of a MM relationship, tender and loving with a side of dominance. A scarred and stunning journey of healing. And your heart may break. But it will be put back together in the end when these characters show you that healing is possible, and not everyone is out to get you. Or are they?
Above all, I hope you love this book as much as we do, and I hope these characters imprint in your mind and leave you wanting more.

Although we are now family, and we put blood, sweat and tears into this book, this is an honest review. DO NOT be fooled and think I went easy on her during the editing process, because I did not. I pushed her boundaries and added to her perspectives and where I could used my experiences as education. This book was a journey. It is my first offical editing credit, but I work hard for the authors I work with and it has bonded us for life, and I am so proud of all of us that worked on this book, because without us finding each other - it wouldn't be what it was.

Evie - Evie is the most damaged FMC I have ever had the privilege of reading. She has withstood and overcome more trauma than most people could cope with (as a living person who has basically been her I can relate. Unfortunately it does happen). She is the true definition of a survivor. In her quest for vengeance she becomes one of the highest ranking members in the school. But not by accident. She works hard for that title. The only one to take on The Kings in the biggest challenge MU has ever set, she has to learn to live with the consequences whichever way the cards may fall. Who will win? Will she survive? Or will she be the undoing of her competitors?
Lev - Lev is an old soul. Kind and compassionate and easy to love. The kind of guy that wants to sit behind his screen and do what he's best at, but would kill you slowly if you hurt what's his. The logical thinker. Until he's betrayed. Can those relationships be fixed? Or are they dead to him forever?
Damien - the fighter of the bunch. The one who will not hesitate to cut you, whether you deserve it or not, if it helps him protect the people he loves. Damaged and broken and a closed book, has he found the people that can turn the pages with ease? The people that can read his story, without judgement and love him despite his flaws and scars? Because we all know that whilst scars can be ugly, they tell a hell of a story.
Alexi - the daddy of the bunch. The one you want to hate, but can't help but fall in love with. The boss. The one that will break you where you fall in order to teach you a lesson. Can he break Evie? Or is he the one to learn the lessons he never thought he could be taught? Fighting his own demons, can he come through and fight the others as well?
Whilst this book has a lot of characters, and is a RH, please keep in mind that your questions will be answered. This is the first in a series. It is multiple POV and there will be twists and turns you may or may not see coming. You will see love and affection. But you will also see darkness and hatred. Blood will be on everyone's hands and some parts may leave a bitter taste in your mouth, but ultimately in the end it will come full circle and the realisations will hit you and the pieces will fall into place.
The spicy scenes in this book I wouldn't recommend reading in a room full of people (I'm not someone who squirms in their seat but there are a couple of scenes that I did) and it may be wise to keep your boyfriend/husband handy 🌶👀😈👹
There is a beautiful exploration of a MM relationship, tender and loving with a side of dominance. A scarred and stunning journey of healing. And your heart may break. But it will be put back together in the end when these characters show you that healing is possible, and not everyone is out to get you. Or are they?
Above all, I hope you love this book as much as we do, and I hope these characters imprint in your mind and leave you wanting more.

Ho-ly SHIT. It's been a while since a mafia book held my attention THIS much. It's a thicc boy, and I couldn't put it down.
Evie is SUCH A BADASS. I absolutely wanna be her when I grow up. She's had such a tragic past but still finds room to get up every day and kick ass. She's certainly not perfect, but she has such a strength when she's getting beaten down and comes back and just keeps hitting harder.
The guys... good god. The men 🥵 Don't even ask me my favorite because I will straight up run away. Each guy has his own past that haunts them, just like Evie.
What I loved about this book is the rep for trauma. Everyone in this book has some sort of trauma/tragedy in their past, and they all deal with it differently. I'm so sick of hearing about FMC/MMC that just gloss over traumatic events or use other people as a crutch. It's very clear that, while other characters were present to help, each person really tries to find their inner strength.
The epilogue damn near broke me in HALF. The last 15% of this book is a total mindfuck already, and Taylor just HAS to go and break my heart as well as my mind.
For a debut book, this shit is EPIC. The story flows SO WELL, the spice is perfectly balanced as to not overwhelm the story, and the characters are well developed and each have depth.

This book is the perfect blend of violence and sex. Of healing but in a messy, realistic way that only dark romance can give you.
If you are a little dark and depraved, and want a mysterious mafia with some MMFM action, this book is for you!
Evie is the ultimate survivor. She pushes boundaries and never lets herself lose sight of her goals. At the same time she’s incredibly self aware and allows the reader to learn more and more about her dark past as she heals from it.
Now onto the morally gray men and the spice. Lev is hands down my favorite and he’s got it all. Sexy, smart, observant, good taste, and despite the penchant for crime is so sweet and soft.
Damien is the bonfire, blasting everything in his circle with his fiery, sarcastic personality. He hides his pain so well but inside has felt a lot of betrayal and struggles to heal from that.
Alexi is the asshole your mama warned you about. He’s arrogant, rich, powerful, and you want to punch him. But then he swoops in and steals your heart.

Where to begin. TR you absolutely killed your debut book. I love this book so much I hope I can do this review justice.
This book builds an incredible world and story and has mystery, intrigue throughout.
In the beginning, We meet our FMC Evie she is fierce, strong, sassy, a bad ass, beautiful and a spit fire. Her story and trauma unfolds through out the book but let’s say that it’s a miracle this girl still functions.
Our MMC’s are Lev, Alexi, and Damien. What can I say about these men. They are hott, tattooed, strong, broody, sexy, and devoted to each other. All three men have their own damage and deal with it in different ways. This story slowly unfolds throughout the book and we still don’t have all the answers by the end of the book.
Our FMC and MMC’s go through so many trials and tribulations throughout this book and find solace in each other (some faster than others). This book is absolutely incredible building this story and these characters. You feel what they feel, you hurt when they hurt, you feel excitement in their triumphs.
This book creates such an interesting story I was sucked in and wasn’t ready to leave. I couldn’t put this book down and I wasn’t ready for it to end. It does end on a cliffhanger with more questions that will be answered in book 2 which I cannot wait for.

OH. MY. FKING. GOD!! Whyyyy did I wait so long to start this series?? I'm mentally kicking myself for not starting this sooner. Mafie Kings was amazing! I seriously could not put my Kindle down and read the whole day yesterday on my day off, every single minute I had I was glued to it. It's that good!!!
Mafie Kings is centered on the boys, Alexi, Damien, and Lev, and the badass bishh Evie. Evie has only one goal in mind: get revenge on the people who murdered her parents when she was 11yo and witnessed the whole thing. After growing up training and becoming one of the best assassins in the world, her Uncle, the only one who could offer her shelter and the tools she needed to move forward, tells her it's finally time to get her revenge at the Mafie University, a university for the criminal families of the mafia world, a prestige university that is invite only and very selective. That's where she meets the Kings, Alexi, Damien and Lev. After losing a challenge, they have the right to rule over Evie for the next year, but instead of finding a submissive little mouse, they have no idea the firecracker they just encountered.

This is definitely one of my favorite mafia books I’ve read so far! You already know you can always anticipate a lot of drama and brutality with mafia romances but this book was so much more than that. I loved that all of ours MC’s are a little broken but have hearts of gold. There is one you might doubt that about but I just his time to shine and show his true colors is coming! 😏
If you know me, you know I normally have no issues with picking a favorite guy when it comes to a RH but this one is proving to be a bit difficult. Hands down Lev and Damien are taking the cake but I love how cut throat Alexi is. I’m not going to lie, I was kind of swooning for him during that first boat scene. I mean who doesn’t love a man who follows through on his word? 🫠
Anyway, Damien is just the right amount of damaged and brutal while being a big ole sexy teddy bear. Lev, well Lev is basically perfection! I naturally loved him first and I ended the book loving him even more! If my book boyfriend isn’t willing to hurt people he loves for me, I just don’t want him! 😩
Let’s do a little drumroll for Evie because holy cow I might be the most in love with her! Talk about a complete bada**! She’s got a lot of emotional, mental and physical baggage she is carrying daily but do you think that is genuinely hindering her? Nope! Is she still ready to take on the biggest/baddest guy in the room? 1000%! Plus, she sets personal boundaries, we love a woman who knows what she is comfortable with and isn’t afraid to speak her mind! A lot of the men in her life have been complete trash to her but she’s a warrior and I have no doubt she will come out on top!
I can’t lie I was pretty shocked by the ending and I now have a ton of questions that I desperately need the answers too! Also, how cute was that epilogue??!? See, I just knew his time to shine was coming! IYKYK 😏🫠
Overall, this book was amazing! For a debut novel the author killed this and I can���t wait to see what comes next! Mafia romances are a hit or miss for me, but like most of them they are focused on revenge. Evie has been greatly wronged, and her parents were murdered and did vile things to her, so she was trained as a weapon to get her revenge against the people who destroyed her life. There's an exclusive school she has to get into where kids of criminals or mafias can get in.
This school is ruled by the KINGS! Lev, Damien, and Alexi. Lev is my fave ahh he's such a sweetheart, tbh the smart tech guy, but damn, he was everything. Damien has a lot of issues, but he has a lot of trauma, but you know we love him. Alexi, of course, the biggest alpha hole of them all. It takes a while for him to get used to feelings or whatnot, but yes, he is a dick through and through.
Evie is a fighter and brutal because of what she went through. The survivalist of the team. The dynamic between all of them was pretty interesting and blended well since they are different from each other, which is great!
For a debut novel, the book and plot were definitely intriguing and it emotionally drew me to the characters. There were parts where I got surprised I got PoVs of characters I didn't expect to have, but I forgot about it, to be honest, and then towards the end, I was pretty drawn again because, wow, that reveal was pretty huge and that epilogue was very cute and somber.
I wonder if she had memories of her past, I won't say more. I did enjoy it and hopefully, I get more of Alexi's character!

I was hyped up to read this book not only from aesthetic pictures/reels I was seeing for it, but I love a good sexy Mafia style read that has suspense. Book one did not disappoint. It brings the spice, darkness (check TW), thrill and who doesn’t love a strong FMC.

I remember first reading the blurb to this book and feeling so excited to read it and well it has NOT disappeared! This book is HOT 🔥 It grips you and pulls you into the story, the characters and the world Oldin has built. Evie is badass as it comes and love how she holds her own. Then there's the guys Alexi, Lev and Damien 🥵... I mean...each twisted and wickedly hot in their own way. Each bring something different to the group dynamic.
I can't wait to see what it has in store next. 5 ⭐ vibes for sure! Congrats TR Oldin you have smashed it! 🖤

This book is HOT 🔥 It grips you and pulls you into the story, the characters and the world Oldin has built. Evie is badass as it comes and love how she holds her own. Then there's the guys Alexi, Lev and Damien 🥵... I mean...each twisted and wickedly hot in their own way. Each bring something different to the group dynamic.
I can't wait to see what it has in store next. 5 ⭐ vibes for sure! Congrats TR Oldin you have smashed it! 🖤

I love the plot of Mafie Kings. The idea of a school for kids of whose families are in organized crime. I mean what!!!

Good God!!! Book 1 from her debut series Brutal boys of the Mafie was hands down AMAZING!! I had high hopes for this coming into the book as she was combining all of my favorite tropes in one and Man! Did she not disappoint 🖤You would think she was a seasoned writer since from the beginning I was instantly hooked by her badass FMC Evie and her sexy AF MMC's Alexi, Lev and Damien🥵🫠 She combined Mafia and Secret Society aspects in one book beautifully. The twists and turns in this book keep you on the edge of your seat while the spice made you clench your thighs 🫠🫠🫠 And we got an

I liked Evie for the most part. I did give her the side eye for some of her reactions though, like the guys keeping secrets from her. Miss ma’am, you were doing the same thing! 😂
Alexi can get fucked for right now. Did not like him one biiiiiiit. Lev, my sweet little bean, I adored him throughout this book. I’m hoping he keeps this backbone he’s grew against Alexi going though! Damien… he was my favorite until broke my heart towards the end. I’m expecting some serious groveling from him in the next book.
I lowkey thought our roomie was going to be behind some of the shit happening. I guess there’s still time for that though. 🤔
I can’t wait for the next book, I’m incredibly interested in what Boris has to say 👀

I didn’t know coming into this book what to expect. I don’t always click with mafia trope genres. I’m so glad that I took a chance on it. It kept me wanting more and more. It flows so effortlessly. But I’m disappointed that it wasn’t a standalone and has a cliffhanger which I hate. Even though I can’t wait to see the outcome of everything. Yes yes yes…. A great start to a good ma🗡️ia rh series! It’s longgggg (which I don’t mind at times) and a slow burn (which I do always mind) However, this book was so good I wished it could be longer.
Yes it’s slow but it has character development, plot development and yes I got attached to all the characters. What I liked about this is that it has a lot of development for secondary characters and you don’t get that in other books.. but as I said this is a long ass book and it’s the first of a four book series!! The cherry on the top is the yummy ⚔️ mm (2 of the guys get it on)
Kinda slow burn tho it’s sexy and they dirty flirt so the anticipation is 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥 damnnnnn !!!
Also it’s 4 book series (I think) and complete. Lots of triggers, on page SA, violence and bloody.
