This was like watching a car crash and you can't look away. All the characters were annoying but Jack was insufferable.

Probably much more amusing onstage, but the comedy had not aged well. Veiled statutory rape jokes, as well as slut shaming.

A chaotic little play. Some jokes land, but many did not age well (e.g. a brushed-off statutory rape?). Norm Foster has much better works.

Norm Foster writes plays that are audience friendly. What I mean by that is that you do not have to be a hard core theatre buff to enjoy them. He usually offers light hearted comedies that anyone can enjoy. I have seen several of his plays and enjoyed them. I must admit that I have only read this play, never seen it, but it didn't do much for me. It was ok but it doesn't make me want to rush out to an audition for it. Maybe it translates better on stage?
