While this is a sweet and heartwarming story it will keep you on the edge of your seat as the story progresses. It is action packed and includes: murder, threats, a ranch war, danger, rustling and yes even some romance. This is Beth and Nate's story, and the character development is excellent. Beth heads west to become a MOB only to find that her future husband has been murdered. His mentor offers to marry Beth and she agrees. As they strive to adjust to each other and encounter all the trials and tribulations Beth's feelings begin to grow for Nate. Even though she thinks Nate feels the same way, he remains very distant and aloof. Will they be able to overcome all of the danger they face, be able to hold on to the ranch, and find their HEA? Be sure and read this real page turner to find out; I know you will enjoy it as much as I did.

A sweet and clean mail-order bride story. Beth travels to as a mail-order bride to meet her future husband, but all her plans change when she arrives. I found "Beth" a bit predictable. Beth marries her groom-to-be's best friend Nate, and even as he seems distant, she begins to wonder if she's begun falling in love with him. According to Beth, ". . .sometimes, the best surprises are the ones we never saw coming." But as danger and cattle rustling increase, can Nate hold onto the ranch he's inherited as well as his wife? Over all, I found "Beth" to be a sweet and clean story. There were a number of typos that I trust will be corrected by the time the book is released, including where one of the characters, Maude, is called Beulah in another place.
I received a complimentary ARC of this book and have voluntarily given my honest opinion in this review.

“Beth” Brides of Coldwater Creek, book 4 by Margery Scott
Old West Life Choices
I didn’t fall in love with any of the characters, although Nate sounds rather tempting, but I did really like this story. This is a good story. A Sweet ‘n’ Clean story of love, death, 2nd chances, and unexpected turns of events. An easy reading story where I found two characters that I labelled villains. They each had at least one side-kick. I wonder if you will agree with me, as to whom to label a villain? Happy Reading ! !
Note: This review expresses my honest opinion.

Beth is a heartfelt, sweet romantic read. The characters are well-developed with lots of layers and I enjoyed discovering them. Beth, still battling the death of her husband, finds herself with no place to live and no future.

I enjoyed Beth's determination to find a husband as a mail-order bride, but things didn't work out exactly as she thought.

Good storyline and is a pleasure to read. Can't wait for the next in the series.

I was given a complimentary copy by the author and a positive review is not required. All opinions are my own.

Just released today.
I really enjoyed Beth and Nat's story. Set on the Silver Dollar Ranch it is a good story with really good Characters. I can't say much about the book without giving away the plot. But I can tell you it is a clean read I think you will enjoy.
