Five stars, how close can family and best friends be? Especially when love is revealed.. James and Gilbert were the best of friends, Gilbert had a sister Mattie.. Through a tragedy her brother sent her to help James so she could recover.. James felt the attraction but did not want to betrayed his friendship.. So he fought his feelings, but to no avail.. But trouble looms for them.. It will take their love to make it through.. Drama, violence and love.. Good ending.

This is a beautiful story full of adventure and romance
I definitely recommend this amazing journey of adventure and love. The characters are absolutely interesting and entertaining as well as the story line is inspiring with lots of twists and turns throughout the story. A story that keeps the reader engaged and wanting to keep reading from the beginning to end. Very interesting extended epilogue with its perfect happily ever after. A beautiful love journey all around. Absolutely a must read and highly recommended for hours of pleasure. Excellent story.

Great Story
After her fiance dumps her for another woman, Maggie goes to Tennessee to be a governess for an old friend who lost his wife and now has to raise his daughter by himself. James doesn't recognize her at first when she gets off the train but when he does he realizes that she has become a really beautiful woman. When a rival rancher, who is extremely jealous of James tries to woo her it back fires and he doesn't like, but James and her brother Gilbert won't let anyone harm her. This really is a good story.

This is a sweet tale of deception, depression and eventually love. Maddie has a long time beau and anticipated engagement and marriage, but he breakers her heart and her spirit too when he tells her he loves another. After several months her brother takes her to be the governess for and old buddy of his that is now widowed with a small daughter. They encounter adventure, excitement, and long pent up anger from a neighbor. You will enjoy discovering how they find their way to their happily ever after.
