The primary story was a lot of fun, very standard Hellboy tale, but with more of the Professor than you usually get. Some good twists, too. The backup was over too quickly; I love the "what they do at home" stories.

That was very fun. I love how fatherly Bruttenholm is. They shouldn't have killed Kiyohime though she was a girlboss.

This did not live up to the standard set by Jim Pascoe's Hellboy Animated stories at all. For one thing, these comics are supposed to be for all ages, and there's much more swearing in this volume than in the other animated adventures (the comics and the movies). The story was decent at best, but not nearly as entertaining as The Black Wedding. I would only recommend this to Hellboy completists.
