I read this for endorsement and thoroughly enjoyed it. Women's fiction is one of my favorite genres, and Curtains for Maggie had everything I look for. Family. Faith. Strong friendships. And lots of realistic situations.
If you haven’t already walked in Maggie’s shoes, you will eventually. She loves her family, works hard for them, and gives of herself with a kind of generosity I admired. Maggie’s a good woman . . . but who is she now that her children are growing up? What parts of herself has she set aside while caring for the people she loves?
One part that she’s set aside is her love for the theater. When the opportunity arises to get her feet wet again, she takes it. And so the drama begins . . . It’s not easy to combine the old with the new, but with faith and help from good friends, Maggie makes a journey that many women will understand.
Maggie’s efforts pay off for everyone—for herself, her husband, and her community. And for readers too! Recommended for fans of women’s fiction, identity stories, and domestic life fiction.
