There's No Such Thing As Dragons: Examining The Theology of The United Pentecostal Church

Rate this book
There’s No Such Thing As Examining The Theology of The United Pentecostal Church is a well-written, relatable resource for those in the process of leaving, or who have already left the United Pentecostal Church or similar religious organizations. The author uses an analogy of the fear of fictitious dragons to describe the internal battle he experienced while pursuing the theological doubts he had during his time in the UPC. His captivating writing style makes it difficult to put this book down. This is a must-have for those of us trying to rebuild our faith after the UPC.

Respectful Deconstruction

This author uses his personal growth in understanding Scripture to extend a lifeline for anyone with questions about their own Scriptural beliefs. He writes in a clear and direct manner which makes it easy to digest the information and evaluate your understanding. He respectfully expresses his disagreement with his previous denomination and clearly uses Scripture to show you how he came to those disagreements.
