“attention upon the dual problems of colonialism and misery” in the 30s - present is the same we let the corruption continue in both entities it’s time to grab a sock and a brick.

anyways the book i didn’t enjoy the book as much as i hoped to the writing / translation took me out of the historic “interpretation” but some of the story / info was new to me so got to research some stuff !

Heavy handed on the socialist rhetoric, but an interesting take on Puerto Rican history. Definately worth reading and discussing. There is so much to consider with Caribbean history....all history really.
