one minute he is running away from zhenya and fighting for his life, and then the clock ticks and the next time he sees zhenya he is a man resigned to his fate. idk, that threw me off a bit... poor taekjoo

Após muita tortura psicológica lendo pelo celular, finalmente terminei a main story.
Como eu esperava, não teve exatamente um arco de redenção do Zhenya, na verdade ele só foi atrás do Taekju na Coreia e ajudou ele a se livrar dos problemas.
Apesar disso, gosto porque o Zhenya não mudou de personalidade e nem se tornou outra pessoa. Ele ainda é um esquisitão sem noção de humanidade mas PELO MENOS ele reconhece muito a importância do Taekju para ele, razão pela qual ele desenvolveu Anastasia e praticamente DEU DE PRESENTE para o Taekju, sabendo que Anastasia é o que mantém a vida dele a salvo.
Adorei as cenas do Zhenya com a mãe do Taekju também, os dois não se entendem porque não falam a mesma língua e é muito divertido, espero que nas side story tenham mais interações deles???
Enfim eu estou dando 5 estrelas no geral para a novel porque gostei do Taekju e as cenas de ação são ótimas, apesar da obra em si não ser perfeita e deixar muito a desejar (principalmente se for comparar com Things That Deserve To Die, por exemplo).

Finally FINALLY, we have some requited, consensual romance! It was not all that I'd hoped, I wish that Zhenya was a bit more (or at all) repentant about his previous actions and treatment of Taekjoo but it definitely moved in the right direction.

The mission was over and we finally got Taekjoo's name cleared so yay! And his mom is now starting to heal which I love. And on the romance front, Zhenya is staying in Korea??? Actually kind of surprising, I hope he warms up to the food and culture.

But most of all, the fluffy tenderness of Zhenya's gaze and how he finally is admitting that he has affection for Taekjoo and wants to stay with him is so nice. I liked their smutty scenes so much more in this novel because for the most part, they were both so into it. And Taekjoo willingly chose to go back to Zhenya (well kind of) but it did feel like he was happy with the decision so that made it much better and a satisfying conclusion to the main story. Thank the heavens for a while volume of hopefully amazing and sweet side stories!!!

Literalmente trolos en negación que cuando se aceptan termina teniendo una relación completamente enferma.
Tal vez lo que una necesita es un psicópata que se obsesione con vos y por eso te ayude con tus problemas legales y al final te regale la bomba nuclear que causó un montón de problemas entre países y personas incluyendote a vos mismo, solo porque en palabras de zhenya:
"Si Anastasia desaparece, estoy acabado. Este es mi aire, mi debilidad y mi arma secreta que me hace el más fuerte del mundo. Ahora Anastasia está frente a mis ojos".

3.5/5 Given the contents in the last volume, I kinda wanted to see their relationship gradually grow through time (after all the shit Taekjoo went thru) but I suppose fast paced is how it goes for crazy lunatics and spies. I also craved more action stuff cause something about that Alligator and Zaika duo working together and wrecking havoc everywhere hits different.
Ps. I got second hand PTSD when Taekjoo went back to the island.

The book was really good, I see zhenya character development. I feel like they’ll be more cute thing in the side story so I can’t wait to read it. Btw I loved the moment we’re Zhenya was speaking on the phone with taekjoo mother and talking like omg 😭😭😭. Anyway can’t wait to read the side Story. O and like Zhenya just giving Anastasia to taekjoo like this okaayyy we see

I've been reading CA novel for a while now and finished vol 4. Aggghhh I'm giggling, kicking my feet, Zhenya has become soo very cute and I love him so much🫂😭. The character development is so so good. Can't wait to see him all cute and caring in the manhwa too😫. You guys should've seen my face when Zhenya offered Anastasia to Taekjoo, oh man he's so damn in love and doesn't even aware of yet.
