Its an excellent book for beginners in Data Structures. Authors have tried their best to Keep Things As Simple As Possible and at the same time they have not skipped adequate explanation on the nuances of Java. But be pre-warned this is not a complete course on Data-Structures. You may want to do a bit more on Dynamic Programming which you can do best from CLS (http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/0262...) and some more advanced topics on trees and graphs.
