The major plotline was a bit derivative (as they did the 'Joey goes to see a sketchy photographer' bit in season 3), but the exotic catalog community brought some nice cringes. Meanwhile, the "inner versus outer beauty" debate that pervades the story is in keeping with the characters typical stances on similar issues. Overall, a bit repetitive and shallow, but any DC novella is always like a nice deep whiff of a nostalgia bouquet.
An easy read. This is literally like an episode from the TV series so if you can happily sit through an episode, you'll be able to enjoy this with no issues.
Carino, leggero e piacevole.
I got a boxed set of these Dawson's Creek novels one Christmas and this is the only one I can remember. Joey becomes a lingerie model to raise money for her family. At the photo shoot she won't allow the make-up artist to pluck her eyebrows. Talk about integrity. Pacey is at her elbow, ogling throughout. Oh boy do I miss Dawson's Creek.
