Some young adults in Middle School allow peer pressure from their friends to cause them to smoke, use drugs and drink. They allow their friends to pressure them into doing things they don't want to engage in. I advise them to always speak to a responsible adult and not succumb to Peer Pressure. They can always speak to their parents, guardians, teachers, administrators or dean at school. Middle School students practice these bad habits and sometimes continue to use them in High School. I use Restorative Justice Circles with my students to discuss the dangers of drugs. I like this book because the author explained in simple terms the dangers of drugs and that puts fear in some of the students to not try it.
