Never not impressed by Claire McCardell’s dog walker skirt—such an anachronistic garment. The writing was pretty standard, as expected for what must have originally been wall text. The clothes were excellent.

fabu, fabu, fabu, though short. This is the catalog from a Metropolitan Museum exhibit held in 1988. The clothes are just mouth-watering, especially those by Claire McCardell and Bonnie Cashin. OMG, I just wish I had ONE of the outfits, especially McCardell's cotton bathing suits, in my closet today. This is one of the books I had thought I might buy, but I am happy to say i got it thru UD ILL. A wonderful pleasure...
