One of my Grandmothers many sewing and crafting things she left to me is this book. Its great, it really has clear instructions on almost anything or any instance in sewing you may need to know. If it weren't for her many supplies and books i probably wouldn't be in my third year of sewing!

Not sure if this is the version I have. It's very old, and belonged to my grandmother. But it has all kinds of pointers on several different kinds of needlecraft, and my sewing has never been better.

One of the best needlecraft books I have read. Very thorough with well written instruction.

I must admit that I have never read this book, I have just glanced through it. It is one of my wife's many volumes. But we keep our books together, except her books in Finnish which have their own bookcase in the garage. If you want to learn any kind of needlecraft from crocheting to macrame this is the book you want. Loaded with pictures and illustrations it makes hand craft almost understandable to me.
