Vale Gabrielle Carey, who has passed away at only 64. A deep- thinking, well travelled author, who wrote by herself, and in collaboration with other writers. She helped to place Australian writing and culture amongst international settings, taking her easy-going and practical attitude to Mexico, the USA, England and Ireland. As a writer, a daughter and a mother, she will be missed. Rest in Peace.

Who knew a book about death could be so mediocre? I read this for my essay, so if I get a bad mark, those three stars are going down to one.
