For me, this read aloud has the perfect tone and tension to red to a classroom full of very young children before a field trip. This is perfect through about First grade. It hits on the important points, such as what to do if you lose your group, lightly and with humor.
This is a great book to read if your class is taking a field trip to teach them the importance of stying together. Also, it would be a great book to read while doing a lesson on animals. You can explore each of the animals in the book.
Field trips are easy? Not always! This adventure will be a test of patience for a teacher and a learning lesson for a student all while enjoying a field trip.
