I first read this book 40 years ago, and I still I refer to it when I study. I bought it when I was dating the man I later married. He was a Christian, and we hoped I'd join in his faith. It didn't work... at the time. We married anyway. I came to faith in my mid-fifties. Now I've been a Christian for 16 years.

In 2015 and 2016 I read the Bible every day for both years and read this commentary at the same time. I thought I knew the Bible well but learned so much from the Bible reading and especially the commentary.
