A High-Stakes Battle for Every Christian
Jesus warned that deception would grow worse as we draw nearer to the end times, saying, “Take heed that no one deceives you” (Matthew 24:4). Distinguishing truth from error has become an increasingly challenging task—even in the church.

We live in a time when falsehoods assault us from every direction. Packaged with just enough truth to make them appear trustworthy, these counterfeits have grown more and more difficult to detect and avoid.

Living in the Daze of Deception explores the many ways error is masquerading as truth—and how you can discern the difference. From pastor Jack Hibbs, you’ll learn The greatest antidote to deception is truth. Equip yourself now to grow in discernment so that you can protect yourself from error and remain steadfast in your faith!

This book is an insightful look at the deceitfulness that is in the wold toady, and a call to the believer to keep their eyes on the Word of Truth! It will be helpful to any who are struggling with fear or frustration about what is happening in these last days. Christian, a lot may be changing, but our redemptions draws near!

I did not purchase this book for myself and figured I should read it before I threw it in the trash. Christianity does not give you the right to be hateful. This was painful to read.

I understand I am not the target audience but this book was incredibly unhinged and full of assumptions made by Jack Hibb. For context, I am not a Christian and I am very much a progressive. With that being said, I still wanted to get the perspective of the opposite side. What I read was not only off the wall but at times made me laugh out loud to its ridiculous assumptions . I don’t really ever write reviews but this one I felt like I had to. There were passages in the book where he would just warp facts to fit what he wanted to be true . He claimed no god means no rules. That’s just not true many places are not Christian or even multi religion places ( America is one of them) all of them have laws. This just his belief. It seemed like the whole books point was to inject this sense of fear and dread into the readers life and the only remedy is the Bible. Science, education, climate change , LGBT+, your children, every thought that isn’t “ godly” was the sin or the devil. He went so far to say if a child throws a fit in the toy store it’s because of sin! They’re a kid bro what are we even talking about! This books whole purpose was to scare people then turn around and say only Christianity can stop all this scary stuff. I’ve read a few right wing Christian books that seems to be the common theme fear. Behind every corner, every thought you don’t agree with, every person who’s different than you is the devil and lies. It’s trying to scare you into submission to fit in a box . He even says when someone says they have all the answers to all your problems be cautious of them. Hello that’s what this book is doing. Obviously I read it I encourage anyone to read all different viewpoints . If you’re looking for a book that has constructive views with nuances. It’s not this book. This book read like a fire and brimstone preacher who wants to scare people into salvation.
