Loved it! Short quick read that was great. I like how these two are pretty much complete opposites but they still make great chemistry. I like how she comes out of her shell in this story.

Dopo aver letto il primo libro di questa serie, che per certi versi mi ha lasciato un leggero sapore amaro in bocca, ho deciso di leggere il secondo. Devo dire che ho fatto bene perché qui le cose migliorano un pochino.
Aria, una ragazza che è sempre stata cauta in qualsiasi cosa abbia fatto, ha creato la sua azienda di investimenti. È brava a comprare e a vendere, praticamente con i numeri e con l’analisi non la batte nessuno. Non ha mai fatto nulla di avventuroso, eccitante o pericoloso. Si trasferisce a Los Angeles per stare vicino alla madre che invece è tutto il contrario; la donna però muore da lì a poco lasciandole una lettera in cui, come ultimo desiderio, le chiede di fare proprio qualcosa di avventuroso e di pericoloso per farla uscire dalla sua confort-zone. Ovviamente lei ha paura di intraprendere queste cose da sola e vuole un ancora di salvezza o comunque qualcuno che la protegga mentre si districa tra queste prodezze, così si rivolge alla Knight security.
Kye è stato cresciuto dal padre a cui voleva molto bene. Non essendo amante dello studio e non sapendo cosa fare della sua vita ha ben pensato di arruolarsi nei Seal da dove si è da poco ritirato, ed è andato a lavorare, insieme al suo migliore amico Gates, per due suoi vecchi compagni di battaglione Anson e Rhett proprietari di un’ azienda che si occupa di sicurezza, la Knight security. Ama fare sport estremi come il paracadutismo e qualsiasi cosa gli faccia scorrere l’adrenalina in corpo.
I nostri due protagonisti, Aria e Kye, si incontrano nella sede della security e ovviamente anche qui scatta subito il colpo di fulmine almeno per quanto riguarda Kye. Quando quest’ultimo entra nell’ufficio e si accorge delle condizioni emotive della ragazza non può fare nient’altro che abbracciarla e rassicurarla. Aria si imbarazza tantissimo. Pur avendo cercato di tenere a bada il tumulto interiore per la morte della madre, per non fare una figuraccia di fronte a quell’armadio di muscoli, ahimè non ci riesce.
Appena i due giovani si ricompongono, Aria spiega di cosa ha bisogno e Kye, un po’ scettico ma ammaliato dalla bellezza e dalla dolcezza della giovane donna, accetta. Da questo punto in poi faranno una serie di cose che vanno totalmente fuori dalla portata di Aria e che avvicineranno i due sempre di più. Ogni momento che passano insieme Kye capisce che è la donna giusta per lui: con lei ride, si diverte, si sente completo, ma ha paura di dirle ciò che prova, anche dopo essere andati a letto insieme. Aria, d’altro canto, teme che lo stupendo Kye non si possa mai innamorare di una donna insulsa e con i “rotolini” che ha lei.
Riusciranno ambedue a dichiararsi? A superare i loro timori e vivere la vita adrenalinica che Aria ha scoperto di amare e che ambedue ora desiderano?

It’s a good thing Rhett and Anson opened Knight Security. Because when Rhett gets injured, both guys leave the military. That’s when, Kye and, Gates know it's time to put in their papers, too. They went through BUDS training together and then got assigned, to the same unit. They have been through five different deployments, three different bases, and countless close calls. It’s only made them closer friends.
Both of the guys grew up as only kids on the east coast. Kye was raised by a single dad, who tried his best to make things fun, even though they were always struggling. Gates was raised by an alcoholic single mother, and he took care of her, more than the other way around. Kye’s dad passed away a few years ago. They say heart attack, but he knew it was from him just working himself to death. The bank took their house, and Kye paid to bury him.
There wasn’t anything left for him back home, so when Gates and, Kye got out, they struggled with figuring out where they wanted to live. But, once they knew about, Knight Security, and, Gates knew that Dillion the girl he was best friends with in high school would be in LA they landed there. Kye is not sure yet, as to the fit for the long term.
Until, the morning when he meets the new client, Aria. A beautiful full figured woman who had just lost her mother. She had moved from, San Francisco to, Los Angeles, and a week and a half after getting here, her mom passed away. Leaving her a letter saying her dying wish was that Aria do something wild, and outside of her comfort zone. She loved her mother. Her mom was fearless, and Aria always wished she could be more like her. Unfortunately, Aria turned out to be, the exact opposite of her. Afraid of everything.
The only things they had in common were their red hair and blue eyes. Aria loved her mom, and she would do anything for her, so if she wants her to go do something crazy, then she will. Her mom would have laughed when Aria told her she went to a security company to hire an ex-Navy SEAL to accompany her on her task. She probably would have encouraged her to flirt, too. Everything about walking into Knight Security is out of her comfort zone. Paying an ex-Navy SEAL to be her friend to accomplish her task is out of her comfort zone.
This was such a funny book. So far, the best of the three I read. Kye and Aria are perfect for each other.

Aria was a successful investment business owner who worked alone and had spent most of her life keeping people at bay, she had only recently moved to LA and semi retired to look after her mum in her final days but her health had deteriorated faster than expected and she had lost the only person who loved her. She had made her mum a promise to step out of her comfort zone and that is why she was currently stood in Knight Security hoping to find someone who could help her do things that will test her and to protect her whilst she does exactly what she promised she would. Kye walked into the office and she had never felt safer in her life, so when he agreed to help her she was overjoyed now all she had to do is not fall in love with him, but when he gives her wings could this man really want someone like her or is the way he looks at her be love?

Aria and Kye were such a cute couple.
One of the things I really enjoy about many Shaw Hart books, is in a series like these where the characters are connected and you see everyone throughout everyone else's books, the men aren't opposed to finding a woman or saying crazy things like "I'll never fall that hard for a woman".
While I have no issues with those kind of books, it's just nice to see a story where the couple recognize that they have a connection upon first meeting, or the man isn't so against being with a woman that he fights it for what seems like half the book.
Opposites really do attract in Aria and Kye's case.
While Aria is more shy and reserved, Kye is outgoing and ready for an adventure at a moments notice.
But while he may be outgoing and adventurous, I believe Kye forgot to live in the moment. While taking Aria on these adventures he takes a step back and appreciates the beauty of the city he's made his home.
While taking on these adventures though feelings develop on both sides. But both are hesitant to speak aloud for fear they might be rejected or taking things too fast. After all, Aria's never been in a relationship, so she doesn't know the protocol for dating. Kye is hesitant because he knows Aria might be a bit vulnerable after losing her mother and doing these adventures as her way to honor her mother. Can these two see how perfect they are for each other? Or will their romance sizzle out when the adventures are over?.

Shaw Hart just took my heart out and handed it over to her leading man, Kye! I am in LOVE with him and his fantastic self! The way he immediately fell for Aria and made her feel important and loved has me swooning over and over. Aria is also a fabulous character! She comes to Kye to help her step out of her comfort zone in honor of her mother who recently passed away. Reading about her experiences was so much fun, and almost, ALMOST, made me want to try it out for myself.
There are so many great scenes in this book that I don’t know if I can pick a favorite. I loved the steamy end to their hike. I didn’t expect that scene and it was HOT! I also really liked when they went sky diving. This was the start to their adventures and laid the foundation for how amazing they were going to be together. I also can’t get over the ending! When feelings are confessed and they decide on their next “wild” it wasn’t expected but I absolutely loved it! From start to finish this book was enjoyable to read and I highly recommend letting yourself fall in love with Kye and Aria.

I LOVED reading this novella. I loved Aria and Kye so much. Where Aria was reserved, Kye was adventurous. They complemented each other perfectly.
Aria wants to get out of her shell since it was her Mom's dying wish. She ends up in a security firm where she meets Kye, and she tells him that she wants to take risks but that she doesn't want to do them alone. Kye instantly accepts even though this is not something his security firm offers. From their first meeting, they feel a connection forming. They go through a few adventures and they feel that attraction grow every day. Will they be able to come together? Or will they be scared to talk about their feelings? Read and find out!
I promise the story is great and the spice is immaculate!

Shaw Hart has done it again! She has a way of drawing readers into her stories through relatable characters that are well written and compliment each other in every way. Aria a shy and cautious woman by nature has decided that although she will be more daring like her mother wanted her to be, she would rather be daring and adventurous with someone by her side. Enter Kye a new employee and friend at Knight Security and Aria’s new bodyguard for her adventures. With each new adventure and more time spent together not only do the two begin to form a friendship but attraction ignites but will Aria have the courage to follow her heart and fall or decide falling is too dangerous? I absolutely fell in love with Aria and Kye and I can’t wait to for Dillon and Gates’ story.

Aria doesn't do adventure. Nor does she have any friends. So, she decides to hire a bodyguard to help guide her along. Kye takes one look at Aria and he knows that she is the one for him. When she tells him about her mom's last wish, Kye is more than willing to help her step out of her comfort zone. But, when these two start to have feelings for each other, each is afraid of scaring the other. Aria and Kye were great for each other!!! I can't wait for Gate's story!!!

This is book number 2 of the Knight Security series and focuses on Kye and Aria. Kye is newly out of the Navy SEALS and decides to go work for Rhett and Anson at Knight Security. When he goes to meet his new client, he isn’t expecting to find his one. He knows right away that Aria is the one for him and he doesn’t waste any time winning his woman over. Aria is grieving the loss of her mom and decides to hire Knight Security to help her fulfill her mom’s wishes of getting outside of her comfort zone. It doesn’t take her long to fall for Kye and to take a big leap out of her comfort zone. This was such a great story and a great addition to the series!

Book two of the Knight Security Series follows Kye and Aria. Aria’s mother unexpectedly has passed away in her last letter from her mom she encouraged her to do something wild. So, Aria has come to the Knight Security Company to seek help on her task. This is here she meets Kye. Instantly intrigued by Aria he agrees to help her. As they complete a bucket list of tasks they begin to develop feelings for each other. This was a sweet quick read with a happily ever after. If you are looking for light hearted read with no drama then this is the book for you.

This is the 2nd book of the series and it was good!!
It was a shorter story so I was able to read it all at once and it was easy to keep up with the story, which I liked.
Aria and Kye meet and he instantly falls for her and she falls for him but they both are afraid to say anything. They set out to accomplish some of Aria's bucket list items and have fun doing them. Sweet instalove novella. It's a stand-alone in a series. Although I think it is best enjoyed after reading the first book in the series.
Aria's mother has passed away. And her last wish was for her daughter to be fearless and try new things. That is how she meets Kye. And he falls for her immediately.

Kye was the sweetest book boyfriend! The way her care is touching. He first meets Aria at his security job. Aria is looking for someone to help her get out of her comfort zone. From the moment he saw Aria, he felt a pull towards her. Aria is much more cautious and skeptical.
I loved this book so much! These characters had chemistry that worked for them. I couldn’t wait to finish this book so I could read it again!

I really enjoyed this story. Kye was an ex Navy SEAL working for his friends security company. Aria arrives at their office looking for someone to help her add some adventure to her life to fulfill her mothers last wishes. The trouble was she was afraid of everything! Kye took one look and knew Aria was his one. He helped her through her fears and was determined to show her they were forever. Sweet, steamy romance with amazing chemistry, a wonderful, loving hero and a beautiful HEA.

Enjoyed this story about an ex US Navy SEAL who took his girl skydiving, et al.
Love me an ex military guy who still knows how to skydive.. I married one myself forty-one years ago (ex 82nd Airborne Division, US Army). He took me on all sorts of adventures during the 11 years before we started having kids, and took us all on adventures together when our boys got big enough. Today our boys are just as adventurous with their families… way outside the box, but always safety first just like their Dad taught them.

Aria is completely out of her depth trying to honor her mom’s last wish. She’s always been studious, low key, and very cautious. Kye takes her on adventures and knows she’s his one. A beautiful love story with a great storyline, fun settings, and dialogue that’s hot and sexy. Shaw has a great series with memorable characters and interconnected stories. Loved it!!.

I like Aria. She wants to step out of her comfort zone and be brave and do wild things. When she finds Kye, he makes all the wild things fun and not so scary. He is her comfort zone. The writing is good. The pacing works well. It is easy to read. The drama and angst is low key. The friends are great additions. Their time spent together is fun.

This was a really sweet book. I really enjoyed Aria and Kye together. These two are drawn to each other as soon as they meant but they try to keep each other at arms length. The connection and chemistry between Aria and Kye is so strong that they can't deny their feelings for long and they get a really sweet HEA. I can't wait for more from this series!.

Aria just lost her mother and her dying wish was that Aria would be adventures and a bit crazy. But she is shy and cautious so she needs help with that and hires Knight Security. Kye meets his new client and is instantly smitten and protective of Aria. So he helps to fulfill her dreams and falls head over heels for his One 🥰🥰🥰 Instalove, sweet, fun to read, romantic, steamy and safe with an awesome HEA and no drama😍😍😍😍 Can't wait for the next guy to finally get his woman🥰

While this can be read as a stand-alone, it is better if the previous book is read. The world and characters continue being built.

This book was not only sweet but spicy!! Aria’s mom died and her wish for her daughter was that she experience things that made uncomfortable. She stopped by Knight Security where she met Kye a former Navy SEAL working security with his friends. She asked if someone would be able to help her out with her moms wishes. It was their normal job but Kye was up for the challenge.
He took her sky diving and she loved it! He loved that Aria made him laugh! He planned another event for them and things definitely got 🥵! Would their adventures continue if feeling got in the way? You have to read this to find it! It is definitely a book you don’t want to skip out on!

Aria has been lost since her mom passed away. She wants to fulfill her mom’s last wishes, but she just doesn’t know how to go about starting. She goes to Knights Security and gets paired up with Kye. Aria doesn’t like to take chances, and Kye is all about living life to the fullest. He brings her out of her shell, and that’s all her mother ever wanted for her. As they go on adventure after adventure, their feelings grow for each other, but will they take the next step?

This was a really fun story to read, it was steamy but also humorous at the same time. The Chemistry between Aria and Kye was instant and quickly grew as he helped her outside of her box, the one thing her mom wanted for her to do. This wasn't a rushed storyline and the ending was nice. I look forward to the next one.

I cannot begin to say how cute this book is! You have a curvy, funny heroine, Aria and an ex-Navy Seal, Kye, who has true golden retriever vibes. Instant love was prominent with Kye but it wasn’t long until Aria felt that too. Taking small risks and living a little bit wilder, these two captured my heart. This is a quick read and an excellent choice for something sweet and spicy.

Fantastic sweet read, when the unexpected happens and your loved one gives you one last task to live adventurously. Great storyline and Kye is absolutely the best in his care for Aria. Enjoyed the slow build as the interaction between them is off the charts.
