Very cute.
Bold, bright water color illustrations compliment a short, sweet story that includes a mama bird and her babies--little ones love stories about mamas and babies!
I love the creative use of cut-outs in the board book pages. It offers an added interest without compromising the strength/durability of the book.

My 7-month-old seemed to enjoy this book. It's very simple, but definitely grabbed her interest. She especially liked when I showed her the little cut out spots, such as the hole for the worm and the edge of the mountains. I like those small attention-getting details.

Another toddler at the library saw me putting books in our bag, so she helped out putting a few of her own (random) selections. I kept this one to read to Natalie. I read it to Natalie a couple times a week ago, but can't remember too much about it. So, it was entertaining at the time, but forgettable.
