Read this awhile ago. Back then I really liked the chapters on Isaiah and Joshua.- His holiness and His place as Captain in my life.

This is the sequel to We Would See Jesus and it is a great one. Sometimes when you read a book you are sad that it had to end and you long for more, well you get more in this volume.

One of the sweetest encounters with a book. I found this one randomly in the family library and all the pages were highlighted by my grandfather (who passed three years ago so this is so precious). I loved all the chapters that reveal an amazing point of view of different Bible characters. My heart started to burn even more after reading this one and I find myself focused on the cross of Jesus Christ. Because nothing else matters when you seek Him and you find His face.
P.S. some of the revelations I got from this book will forever change my perspective on the Bible so it’s a must read! It’s a quality over quantity kinda book.

91 pages; casual but organized writing, including some personal stories and his impressions after thinking a lot about when Isaiah, Saul/Paul, the disciples and Joshua had encounters with God -- some teaching mixed with some conjecture about these guys. (The conjectures about some of these guys' hearts / motives seemed inaccurate and unnecessary, but he had clearly spent a lot of time mulling these situations over, and I think his imagination had gotten involved.) Very encouraging memorable book.

A brilliant book. I do recommend it. I did not agree with everything he wrote but I understood what he was conveying. It is a book you struggle with at first and then fly through later on. Will be reading it again in 6 months.
