in the book it is not a date its about this boy name Kirk who has a girlfriend name Claire but his boss to give his niece Gail a tennis lesson but apparently Mr.Hill calls it a date, he calls it tennis lessons, when he tells Claire she gets mad and upset because she don't want kirk to go on a date with another girl she tells kirk that shes not going on a date with him again unless he bracks his dat ewith Gail and she got mad at him and doesn't even wanna talk to him, she got so mad that she didnt end up going to the movies with kirk. kirk try talking to her but she hung up the phone everytime he called and @ school she ignored him and walked away. kirk was very upset and didn't know wat to do. Kirk didn't want Claire to be at him anymore. So at the end he tought of a very good idea. He was gonna take his lil sis beth whose 8 years old with him.He called claire and told her about it. Claire was not mad at kirk no more, Kirk was so glad and thats not the book ends, so kirk was still helping Gail with her tennis lessons and still have claire for a girlfriend. ok thats it!

Kirk date with Claire but everything changed when his boss asked to gives his niece, Gail, a tennis lesson. His girlfriend don't think it is a tennis lesson. So he don't know how to prove her is not a date is tennis lesson only.
