Simple Sweet Romance

This is the third novel I've read by Beverly Clark and it was filled with lots of romance and secrets. The heroine of the novel was Brenda Davis'a-k-a Shelia Walker', the daughter of wealthy parents, who made a unforgivable mistake by convincing their daughter, to give her son up for adoption, which lead to an emotional breakdown. After her recovery, she decides to relocate, start a new life. However, little did she know this new life would be the start of a wonderful future. She met MacGil Jackson, the hero of the novel, and gets the shock of her life. Although I found this novel enjoyable, I thought some of the dialogue between Brenda and Gil was, for lack of a better word 'corny', especially during the intimate scenes. Yet, it was still a sweet romance.
