More Suspense & Romance

This is the fourth novel I've read by the J.M. Jeffries Duo and I am never disappointed. Although this novel had more suspense than romance it was still an exceptional piece of writing. The main and supporting characters were well developed and the dialogue flowed nicely to keep you turning the pages. Cher Dawson is definitely a strong heroine. Enjoyed the way they portrayed her relationship with her daughter, Miranda, who was quite a character herself. And I can't wait to read more about the supporting characters of the Cold Case Unit. Keep the stories flowing, ladies.

The story of Cher and Luc is good. The met in college and were kept apart by Luc's wicked mother. Well Luc's mother is murdered and the murderer is found not quilty.
Which leads to Luc needed Chers help in solving a case. She is in charge of Cold Case unit in Phoenix. Well does she get a surprise when she sees Luc. They have a 13 year old daughter together he doesn't know about.
I enjoyed the story.
It was my second J M Jeffries and I wasn't disapointed.

This turned out to be a good book. I started it last year but just couldn't get into it enough to finish it at the time. Definitely worth the read. Cher was kick ass, take no prisoners cop and her past helped shape her. It sucks that thanks to Luc's mom each other their lives were deprived and that it had to take her murder to bring them back together.
